Borders Underfloor Heating Limited

We've been doing a self building near Kelso and we asked Borders Underfloor Heating to install our heat pump system and guide us through the installation of the underfloor pipework which we intended to do ourselves. Simon and Pauline have be extremely helpful throughout. Pauline provided us with quotes for various options and we went with the Mitsubishi Eco Dan system. The materials for my part of the installation were organised by BUF and delivered to site when I asked for them. Once I had installed the pipe layout Simon returned to site to fill and pressure test the system before the screed was poured. Simon plans his heating layout with care and his installation in our plant room is extremely tidy, every connection, both electrical and plumbing is precise and double checked. I have never seen tidier pipe insulation, fitted once the system was tested. We have been using the air source heat pump for a couple of months now and it is doing exactly what we had hoped providing heat and hot water efficiency and keeping the house comfortable. I would certainly recommend this company for their attention to detail and their helpful 'can do' attitude. Pauline is your main point of contact and is very knowledgeable and approachable. We are currently enjoying our lovely warm house thanks to an ASHP/UFH system installed by Borders Underfloor Heating Limited. After reading other peoples reviews we were determined to obtain Simon and Pauline’s services. From the start they have guided us through the process and reassured us when needed.
