We've just had an air source heat pump retrofitted to our house by HCE. We've been very happy with the service we've received, first by Andy who visited and did an survey before providing an extensive heat loss report and build plan really promptly. Then by the install team who were timely, efficient and friendly. The standard of work and professionalism was very high and they left the house very tidy, not just at the end of the install but at the end of every workday. Communication was excellent and responsive at every step by everyone on the team, not having to pay anything until the install was complete was a bonus, them entirely handling the grant application was helpful and finally, the system is working quietly and efficiently right from the off - a huge upgrade from an ancient oil boiler! Highly recommend HCE.

I cannot fault the HCE team! From the home survey and grant process through to the install and the aftercare everyone was clear, helpful and knowledgeable. We are over the moon with our new air source heat pump, just in time for the colder months and very glad to see the back of our dependency on oil! I am recommending to all my friends and family :-)

This is probably the smoothest running and definitely the tidiest building project we've had done. Given the amount of work needed to pipe and install the heat pump system, and the sheer volume of materials used, I am amazed that the entire installation took only 3 days with commissioning on the 4th day. Apart from the floor coverings, everything was cleared away at the end of each work day. The fitters explained everything they were doing and were generous with their time in answering questions. They went to great lengths to keep us happy, including taking a longer route with the venting pipework for the aesthetic reasons. It was clear that a great deal of planning had gone into this installation to make it run so well. We're happy that we know how to operate and adjust everything, but know that help is only a phone call away. Were it not for the Grant exchanger outside and the gap in the wall where the boiler was, and all the new radiators, you wouldn't know that anything had changed. A very professional job carried out by people who really know about every aspect of how heat pump systems work. Highly recommended

We had an air-source heat pump installed by Heat Charge Evolution in August 2026. From contacting the company at the very end of June through to installation, communication was really good, and we were kept updated at every stage. We got an initial estimate of how much it would cost after a short chat on the phone with Andrew, and an updated price and plan after a full home survey. The updated price was slightly higher than the estimate, but mainly because we asked for upright radiators in several rooms. Andrew was happy to answer our questions about the system, the heat loss calculations, etc, and everything was explained clearly and patiently. The installation itself was over 3 days, Weds-Friday, as planned with the team working very hard and long hours (7.30am to 7pm on one day) to get it up and running so that we had hot water over the weekend. All the radiator positions and pipework placement were checked with us beforehand, and any change of plan was communicated with us before implementation. The installation team of David, Declan and Graham were polite, friendly and tidied up after themselves at the end of each day. When we weren't quite happy with where the pipework for one of the radiators was put, Declan redid it promptly and good-naturedly. David sat down with us after it was up and running and explained how the system and controls work, and Andrew rang post-installation to check everything works as expected (it does) so we feel like we are in good hands. We will be asking them to do our annual services in future. Our experience with Heat Charge Evolution has been very good, and having had quotes from a number of companies, we found their pricing very competitive too, and we would be happy to recommend them to anyone who asks about our heat pump.

We had Heat Charge Evolution install an air source heating system and EV charger at our rural property, and the whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. The team arrived early, worked hard throughout the day, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. What stood out most was the communication. They kept us informed at every stage, answered every question thoroughly, and never made us feel like we were being rushed through a job. The quality of the work speaks for itself, but it's the professionalism and genuine expertise that set them apart. You could tell this wasn't just a job to them. We compared several quotes before choosing Heat Charge Evolution and I'm glad we did. Highly recommend!
