We recently had a heat pump, solar panels and batteries installed by Latent Heat, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! David and Hugh designed the system for us, explaining all the elements in detail, and the installation was carried out very professionally by Kenny, Jack, Donald, Daniel, and Jamie. The team were continually focussed on doing the work meticulously and carefully (rather than quickly) and were always friendly, on time, and very knowledgeable. I have complete confidence in their work and would encourage anyone planning a heat pump and solar installation to use this team! We are now enjoying a much warmer house at hugely reduced energy costs. Many thanks Latent Heat!

We recently had the team from Latent Heat in to replace our full central heating system (boiler, radiators, pipework, etc.). From the initial enquiry through to completion they were professional and considerate. Communication was excellent and they were always willing to accommodate our requirements. The work was completed on time and to the agreed price. We would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Latent heat installed solar panels and batteries into our house. The process from start to finish was very professional. Communication was good, from initial advice on what equipment and installation would work best for us, to making arrangements for the work to be carried out. The work was carried out quickly, efficiently and to a high standard. They then spent considerable time to walk us through the set up, operation, configuration and monitoring of the all the equipment. The after sales has been first class. If we have any problems we just message or email the team and they respond within 24 hours, they have also dropped in a couple times just to make sure everything is working okay and to answer any questions. Finally, everyone we meet from Latent Heat was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, there was no pushy sales, just a nice bunch of professional guys.

The work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. David and Jack from Latent Heat were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, such a pleasure to work with.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
