Alex and his team installed an air source heat pump for us last week. It is clear that these guys know what they are doing, and handled everything from the heat loss calculations to design to install. It is important to get all of these steps right if you want the best efficiency, and the quality of the work here was exceptional, particularly the neat pipework (which was all lagged after the photo below was taken) and general attention to detail. Considering the size of the job the work wasn't too disruptive either, taking a lot of care to keep things clean inside the house and keeping the downtime of the heating and hot water to a minimum. At the end of the install, Alex explained everything we need to know to get the most out of the system. We've had it running for about a week and it's great so far, maintaning a comfy temperature in the house and plenty of hot water. If you're looking to switch to a heat pump, I can't recommend Bristol Renewable Heat enough.

Alex and his team installed an Air Source Heat Pump for us, but that wasn’t the challenge! That was the removal of a huge extremely heavy cylinder and the delivery of the heat pump from Heat Geek, up a very steep lane. Both challenges overcome, and we are super impressed by the standard of their work and their determination to ensure that every part of the installation was completed professionally. Cannot recommend Alex & his team highly enough.

Alex and Connor have done such a fantastic job! The whole process from the heatloss calculation to the hand over of my beautiful Vaillant air source heatpump run system was perfect. Alex's knowledge is vast and he has given me some great advice and helped me set up the system to be efficient and cost effective. They're response time is nearly immediate and Alex was more than happy to talk to me often to ensure I had the best system that balanced cost and efficiency. Their pipework is a thing of beauty and we sailed through the grant process which basically gave me a free ASHP. Would definitely recommend these guys for any of your plumbing needs. (Just a note on one of the pictures I've posted of the cylinder: ignore the wiring as this picture was taken before the electrician came to hook up the electrics.)

Alex and his team removed my boiler and installed an air source heat pump. These guys really know what they're doing and are true engineers. The standard of their work was brilliant. They involved me every step of the way from quote to handover, and accommodated my choice of bathroom radiator in the design. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bristol Gas Co. We've now got loads of hot water and looking forward to heating season.
