A solar and battery system is an expensive purchase and you want it to be installed correctly and safely. I am so pleased that I decided to use Construct Energy for my installation. After spending way too much time researching everything solar, I decided to get some quotes. I got four different quotes from four different companies. One was bad, I likened this company to Del boy and Rodney of the solar world. One was good, but in the end, just not as good as Construct Energy. And one nationwide Solar company who's quote was over £2000 more, blaming bigger overheads due to the size of the company. Obviously that extra expense is passed on to the customer, no thanks. So what made me choose Construct Energy? Well my mind was made up very quickly. Straight from the first phone call, Kirsty was a joy to speak to, friendly, knowledgeable and she listened to what kind of system(s) I had in mind. After a couple of days my online quote for three different systems came through. I was amazed by the detail, everything was broken down into understandable sections. Every piece of equipment and price was shown, including the price for the scaffolders. I was I instantly impressed and asked for an onsite survey. Matt promptly came out and did a detailed survey. Flying his drone around my property, going into my loft and taking pictures of my electrics. It was all professionally done. I received my final quote a couple days later, and being happy with everything I agreed for them to proceed. I was then passed on to Sophie, who delt with everything behind the scenes, DNO applications, booking scaffolders and payments. She was always prompt in our correspondences, and was great to deal with. The DNO application came through quite quick so my install was brought forward a month which was great. On the day of the install, Matt came with two other lads, and even though the solar panels and battery turned up late. They worked extremely hard to get the install up and running that day, working late into the evening. Everything was tidied up and the system was explained to me. I couldn't of asked for a better service, and the system is performing really well. All the work is guaranteed and I've already received some great after care. I can't express how happy I am in choosing Construct Energy, the whole process from start to finish was excellent. I highly recommend this company, and in this day and age. It's a company that provides a really high standard of service, all for a respectable price.

We spoke with 6 installers and invited 3 to come to our house. Matt from Construct Energy completed a very thorough survey in relation to both a heat pump and solar system. I went through various options of panels and batteries with Matt, who changed his quote maybe 6 times (due to my changes), but then I settled on a system using 24 panels and 22KWh of batteries. We had the heat pump installed about a month prior to the solar and then they returned to complete the solar installation. During the heat pump install they assisted us by removing the old radiator in our ensuite first so we could tile that wall and then fitted it later plus their plumber made a couple of additional changes to assist our work. We had a very small solar system fitted already which was sunk into the roof and Matt had quoted to remove that system as it provided barely more than one of the new panels. This involved fitting a new section of the roof which he did. Whilst up on the roof he also replaced all the damaged tiles that were there, making it water tight again. Matt then fitted the batteries, inverter and all 24 panels with all the work being completed in 3 days. He then set up the app and I could see what the system was doing. My Energy bill was nearly £200 before all the work and afterwards I was able to loose the gas completely and now I only pay the eletrical standing charge plus less than 1 KWh per week where the system checks it is still connected. So my monthly bill is now under £20. The system has created 668KWh of electrity in just over 2 weeks, suppling all my electric and sending 350KWh back to the grid making me money. The system looks great and the quality of the workmanship is fantastic. I have changed my review to include the, now fitted, solar system. Highly recommended UPDATE: A month after being installed the system had created 99% of all our electricity and in total 1.5 Mega Watts! That is about a third of wha the old system, did in over 10 years. I can now see totals of 1.7Mw with 1 Mw sent to the grid

After extensive research I decided to proceed with the installation of a solar system consisting of panels, battery pack and a gateway plus EV charger. My research to find the right installer resulted in a shortlist of three companies including my supplier of services. It was very clear early on in the process of reviewing each of the proposal that Construct Energy was by far the more suitable in all aspects including the customer service, the initial survey, the project management followed by the installation / commissioning and handover. My thanks goes to Kirsty, Sophie and Matt (plus Callum) for all their hard work to deliver the solar system exactly as designed plus their patience and kindness throughout the process. I have no hesitation in recommending construct; they are a brilliant team to work with. My thanks to the whole team.

Very helpful from start to finish, had plenty of information and tips on how to get the best out of our solar and battery installation, all work was completed earlier than expected and cleaned up after. Completely stressed free and helped to set up the app at the end so I could see how it all worked
