Boiler was dripping water over the weekend. Phones CGS on Monday morning, was put on their emergency list and an engineer came that afternoon and diagnosed the problem. I got a quote the same afternoon and an engineer arrived the following day and replaced the faulty part. Excellent service

Whilst the company was very prompt in sending out an engineer to diagnose, and followed this with a repair the next day, I think £240 fee for a 20 min of work to replace a valve is pricey. Note the valve cost £22. Further, I was not happy with the mess left by the engineer in my loft: the old valve, packaging etc, all of which could easily have been removed. To make matters worse, when I politely expressed my concerns to the company I received a reply that was terse and factually inaccurate. Whilst this is not really an issue for me, as my boiler is working, I do wonder what would happen if you have a major problem with this company, as they would appear to be incapable of engaging constructively with criticism.
My dad asked me to write this review on his behalf as he said the service he’s received recently has been “exemplary” The ladies in the office that he dealt with couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful, Kayleigh, Lauren and Alma. Between booking him in, sending the quote, arranging the return visit and paying the bill, they made everything so easy for him and were really understanding and accommodating of his needs. Mitch came out both times and arrived when they said he would. He was a lovely, polite young lad who really knew his stuff and has a great future ahead of him. He couldn’t recommend them enough and will be using them for all his plumbing and heating jobs from now on. He just wishes all trades were this easy to deal with! Thanks again to everyone!
