We had solar panels removed around make space for a velux window. The initial quote was £476, with reassurance that if the work took longer it would only be “slightly more”. However, the final bill came in at almost double this amount, and we were not contacted on the day to advise that costs were escalating or to seek approval before the work was completed. That said, communication during the dispute itself was polite and professional, and once we raised our concerns the company did engage constructively. They acknowledged that the wording used in the estimate was unhelpful and ultimately agreed to a reduced and more reasonable final price, which we appreciated. The work itself was completed, and while we were unhappy with how the pricing was handled initially, we were pleased that the matter was resolved amicably in the end. Clearer communication around estimates and cost overruns would significantly improve the experience.

A very positive experience. OHM installed an Air Source Heat Pump in May 2025. The whole process from initial survey to completion was friendly, professional and efficient. We are very happy with the quality of the work and would recommend OHM to anyone considering a heat pump.

A challenging task was tackled expertly by this company. The team of Russell, Simon, Henry, Gino, Adam, and Josh were cheerful and skilled in replacing all the radiators, siting the pump and squeezing the cylinder into a small space. A new shower was fitted very neatly. Everything is now in place and working. It's too soon to tell if the system will cope with cold weather, but so far so good. I can recommend OHM Energy as a heat pump installer.

It has been a pleasure dealing with Paul, Emma, Ollie and Keith at OHM. I have had a ground source heat pump installed by them aswell as PV panel system. The work was prompt and efficient but in particularly the after sale service and customer care is excellent. It is a big outlay and they always take time to answer questions and queries. Saving up for my Powerwall battery now and will be using these guys!

OHM fitted an air source heat pump for us- It was a slightly tricky install into a fairly tight space that Octopus energy had said that they couldn't do. They came with the creative thinking required to route the pipework as straight forwardly as possible and fit a slimline cylinder into our smaller space. It was a 4 day job on the heat pump install with an extra day beforehand to upgrade some radiators. All the team were polite, professional and communicative. We are happy with the outcome.
