My son has used Ghulam a couple of times for radiator issues and he’s done a good job , so we knew he was reliable . We had a leaking bathroom tap which was dripping into the ceiling below. Ghulam came quickly to replace the tap unit even though it was a Friday evening and also replaced the waste pipe which was blocked. He did an excellent job and cleaned up . Thank-you for another good job.

Had an emergency issue on a Sunday evening with water coming through our lounge ceiling. Guhlam came out within the hour. Was friendly, considerate and above all extremely professional in locating the issue and rectifying it quickly. Would recommend!

Used Yorkshire Plumbing and heating for a leak under the bath that was dripping into the ceiling below. He turned up on time and took the time to properly find the issue rather than rushing it. He took the trap off, sorted a washer that wasn’t sitting right, and also spotted another leaking joint further along the pipe that was awkward to get to. Everything was tightened, checked, and tested before he left, and the leak has stopped. Explained everything clearly and charged a fair price. Would definitely use Yorkshire Plumbing and heating again and recommend.

I reached out to him as part of a college research project because I wanted to understand what life is really like as a tradesman. Even though he was in his off the job hours and spending time with his family, he still made time to speak with me and didn’t make me feel like I was a burden or rushing him. He was very open, honest, and realistic about the industry — not just the good parts, but the challenges as well. The advice he gave me was genuinely valuable and came from real experience, not textbook answers. He explained things clearly, shared lessons he’s learned over the years, and gave me insight that you can’t just find online. What stood out most was his attitude and the way he spoke. You could hear how much he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in doing the job properly. He spoke with real responsibility and integrity, which says a lot about the standard he holds himself to. I’m very grateful for the time he gave me and the advice he shared. I’d highly recommend him — not just as a skilled plumber, but as someone who genuinely cares about his work and the people he speaks to.

I had a very bad leak coming from one-of my raidiator pipes which I was enable to stop easily. I ended up calling Gulam at Yorkshire plumbing and heating and he came out straight away. He sorted the problem out very quickly and did so in a very professional manner. Was very happy with the work he carried out and would recommend him to anyone!

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
