Fantastic service from start to finish. Ahmer and his team have kept in the loop all through the process. I like many others were quite worried about engaging over solar panels but my fears were quickly alleviated. The panels are made a fantastic difference already to my electricity bills and Ahmer sorted all of the paperwork out for me with no stress. I am now less than three weeks later getting paid by the grid for the excess solar we export And the battery system has reduced my daily electricity bill by about 85%. Great work and thank you Andy

Ahmer was able to assess what we needed, explain it clearly and do a thorough, efficient and tidy job. We had 10 year old solar panels which are fine but he replaced the inverter system and installed a battery (and an app)

I cannot recommend Ahmer at Yorkshire Automation highly enough. I first came across Yorkshire Automation through one of Ahmer’s excellent YouTube videos, which explained clearly and simply how to update the inverter settings so that I could charge my home battery overnight using cheaper electricity after purchasing an EV. The video was extremely helpful and immediately gave me confidence in his knowledge and expertise. Several months later, I experienced a problem with my solar battery and inverter—they had effectively stopped communicating with each other. I contacted my original installer several times by both telephone and email, but unfortunately received no response, leaving me unsure where to turn. I remembered Ahmer saying at the end of his YouTube video that people could contact him if they had problems, so I decided to get in touch. I am so glad I did. Ahmer very generously gave his time and patiently guided me through a series of checks by email, helping to identify and isolate the problem. Eventually, it became clear that the battery itself was faulty and needed replacing under the manufacturer’s warranty. Even though Ahmer had not installed my system, he went above and beyond and dealt with LuxPower, the inverter manufacturer, on my behalf to help arrange the replacement. I am genuinely extremely grateful for the time, patience and expertise he gave me. What impressed me even more was that Ahmer would not accept any payment for his help. I offered, but he simply said that it had only involved a few emails. In my view, that modest description doesn't come close to reflecting how valuable his assistance was to me. This experience has reinforced something I believe anyone considering solar, batteries or an EV charging system should think very carefully about: after-sales service matters just as much as the installation itself. Equipment can and occasionally does go wrong, and having someone knowledgeable, approachable and willing to help when it does is invaluable. So, if you are in Leeds, North Yorkshire or the surrounding area and are looking for a solar installer, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Ahmer and Yorkshire Automation. I originally contacted Ahmer simply because of a helpful YouTube video. He ended up solving a problem with equipment he hadn't even installed. That says a great deal about the sort of person and business he is. **Thank you, Ahmer, for your patience, kindness and outstanding help. It is very much appreciated.**
