The worst company ever! Avoid! Excuse after excuse and the contract isn’t worth the paper it’s written on as they won’t fix anything, even the new stuff they’ve installed! Actually it’s a bedroom radiator! Plus the cancelled visits. Also my contract says replace broken rads?? The list could go on….

If I could rate this company lower I would... I live in a council property and the property was due a new kitchen. So in good faith I agreed. I was promised that the kitchen would take no longer than a week... (It took over two weeks, then they had to come back and fix the botched jobs. They still haven't been back to finish decorating... month's on....) Lot's of work men would just let themselves in to my property, even one's not working on my kitchen. Just for a catch up and a chat. I'm no prude, but every other word was them swearing.. Very unprofessional... They managed to damage my new blinds and not cover my new carpet properly and get muddy boots on that. The tiler did a very bad job of tiling... which had to be redone. He also went though a private make up bag of mine and empty it out... which I found just weird. The paint job is really poor, only one coat of gloss on the skirting board and cupboard... this is already coming off. As he didn't sand and prime at all... also that paint that he used just wipes off, when cleaned. The joiner managed to saw into my outside recycling bin lid, as he used it as a work bench. He put all the door handles on wonky, which had to be re done. He also put the dividing shelves on the bottom cupboards wrong, as you want the gap at the bottom larger than at the top, so that it can hold the weight. He was a lovely guy, but not great at his work. I tried helping things along, by taking off all the cupboard doors and all the screws and handles etc... I moved everything out of the way ready for them. I wish I hadn't bothered. When I phoned up to complain, I was promised calls back that never happened... I kept out of the way in my bedroom, while they worked... the electrician just opened my door. The stress that these lot caused was horrible... This is just a brief overview.... avoid at all cost... as they over promise and under deliver!... ** edited, I've had to edit my original review as it was going to be deleted, due to me writing about the language used by your workers and about how unprofessional they were. I stand by my original review... North Yorkshire Council... do pick the cheapest and worst contractors... that they can find... thank you for illustrating my point. I still wouldn't recommend *

Hug boilers have just done a boiler conversion for us on behalf of Berneslai Homes. On Monday a gentleman (his name escapes me) came and surveyed our home and arranged for the work to be done. He was very professional and explained clearly what they would be doing. The following day Daz arrived and installed our new boiler, assisted by Wayne who did the electrical work. Both of these gents were excellent tradesmen, very good at their trade, polite and professional. Also we have now had Paul, the joiner, come and sort out our old airing cupboard, putting in a new floor etc. Paul also was a very good, neat and tidy tradesman and our cupboard looks brilliant. We must also give praise to the efficient helpful office staff for their help in the organisation of it all. Thankyou, John and Lesley Lunn

4 weeks have now passed since this company sent Curly, Larry and Mo to install a new central heating system. The lounge radiator was not fitted central of the window. The soak away was never installed. No flue heat shield was fitted and no CP12 issued. They made 3 further appointments to rectify the installation and failed to turn up for all 3. The property is a rental and I have now lost 4 weeks rent. The service here is very very poor.
