No heating no hot water no cooking. -8 outside. Cut off supply by SGN due to reporting a leak in supply box. British Gas homecare sent 2x boiler engineers to support. Both wrongly diagnosed the problem. Neither really looked properly at it, both wanted to dig gas pipes up at huge cost to us. Only DG Plumbing were able to deploy an engineer who correctly assessed the issue and detected a union which had never been correctly made since construction of the house by Chap homes in 2015. Union tightened and leak checked. Services restored and all in less than an hour. No pipes dug up no mess no drama. It was mid Dec 25 and other inverness plumbers were quite happy to say we can attend, but not that year and several as late as in Feb 26!!! What a difference made by calling the right man, Daniel Gordon you saved me and my family from a miserable Christmas. My thanks to you and your superb team of HONEST and PROFESSIONAL plumbers.

D&G installed our gas central heating a few years ago, we have kept up our annual boiler service with them as they are a great bunch of guys and the price is acceptable too. Rachel always so helpful on the telephone too. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Had DG Plumbing & Heating carry out my annual service on a Vaillant boiler and they also carried out some fault investigation on an issue I had with my central heating system. Very happy with the standard of workmanship and the technician was first class in all aspects. I will most definitely be calling them again next year and would highly recommend.

Really excellent service. Heat pump fitted within 2 days, minimal mess considering the nature of the job. Daniel & team are excellent at what they do and always turned up on time and great communication, so pleased with the work carried out. Would absolutely recommend this company, especially if you are doing it through the home energy Scotland grant as they are happy to wait for the grant money to come through too so no need to worry about that either. Thank you

The heat pump installation team from DG was excellent. Professional and informative. They are very responsive and helpful. The new heat pump takes a bit of getting used to. I had a couple of panic situations and DG came out immediately. I have nothing but good words for this company.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
