Superb team of hardworking professionals. Have used them a few times due to their reliability to getting the job done at a very reasonable price compared to competitors. I used them last week as kitchen tap was leaking and had the staff member Angus come round; he got the job done in no time and left an excellent job. Very friendly and honest guy as were previous plumbers from this company. Highly recommend.

Would like to say a huge thank you to Gus (Angus) from DG Plumbing and Heating, who recently visited to fix a leaking tap. The job turned out to be much more difficult than first thought and he carried the job out with such ease and attention to detail. He went out of his way twice to get parts and then came back the next day to finish the job. His work was very professional and neatly done, and he had a very kind and friendly attitude. All round a great experience and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for work to be done.

I had DG Plumbing and Heating in Inverness install a new oil boiler last summer to replace my previous biomass system for the sum of £9000. From day one, the boiler was overheating and repeatedly tripping. I contacted Daniel numerous times to resolve the issue. He did send engineers out on three occasions, but each time I was told there was nothing wrong because the fault didn’t happen while they were there. No proper investigation or meaningful attempt was made to identify the cause, and the problem continued. Over time, the situation became increasingly serious and potentially dangerous. The temperatures being generated were so excessive that the lagging insulation on the pipework began melting, and at one point a plastic pipe running from the boiler room to the house actually melted and burst due to the heat. This should never happen with a correctly installed system. Despite repeated attempts to get this resolved, communication became very poor. Calls and messages were largely ignored, and eventually I was told that if I got someone else to fix it, he would pay for it. That is not an acceptable way to deal with what was clearly a faulty installation and a growing safety concern. It has taken a long time, additional cost, and considerable inconvenience to finally have the issue properly fixed. Overall, extremely disappointing aftercare and a lack of responsibility for a serious problem from the outset.
