We after lots of research and talking to companies at shows etc. settled on Earth Save Products, due to 3 reasons. 1. A recommendation from an unbiased person 2. Their ability to offer UFH and our hot water system from one company (no later issues if anything goes wrong with one company blaming the other!!) 3. Their technical knowledge in this field being excellent, rather than being a sales based company like other people who aren’t even around. They knew what they were talking about. We ordered the following after going to their offices and seeing their products at first hand: ESP 17KW ADVANCED CLASSIC (Multi compressor) ASHP WITH AN ESP 200ltr HEATING WATER BUFFER TANK AND UNDERFLOOR HEATING SYSTEM TO THE GROUND AND 1st FLOOR AREAS. ALSO 1No. ESP ECOCENT MAXI 300ltr UNVENTED HOT WATER UNIT, (WITH BUILT IN HIGH TEMP ASHP, FOR HOT WATER PRODUCTION). Dave has been particularly excellent throughout the whole build process, with advice etc. and they have always delivered on what they have promised. We’ve had a couple of teething issues as expected in a new build but they were sorted very quickly and one wasn’t even their fault but down to our electrician who wired up the UFH stats incorrectly! We have found the whole team to be very helpful and cannot fault their customer service at all. Thanks Dave, Brian, Rob and all your fitting team (sorry forgot their names). We found the whole heating and UFH systems a minefield of information at the shows but are very happy with our choice of Earth Save products and their people! Earth Save Products installed underfloor heating, an air source heat pump and a ventilation system in my new house. As a self-build project I wanted to have reliable competent suppliers but at the same time didn't have an unlimited budget. ESP were highly professional from the original contact through to the installation and commissioining. They have been helpful and supportive when I've had any queries and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else doing their own 'grand design'.

I have never written a review like this before but trust me, avoid ESP at all costs. My experience: £15k down the drain. Terrible reliability and customer service. Continual problems with top of range heat pump, fitted in 2019, which has failed regularly ever since. When in warranty the problem was not fixed properly and when out of warranty it has cost me on average £1k pa just in repair costs. Currently sitting in a cold house (again) when we were supposed to be hosting family between Christmas and new year. Customer service is very defensive and unhelpful - just not interested. Hardly any heat engineers are familiar with ESP, and the guy who used to repair it under warranty (Tristan) has now left ESP and runs a nice little business charging a lot to fix ESP units (eg c£800 replacement circuit boards). The worst purchase of my life and I am almost at the point of writing it all off and buying a new heat pump from a reputable manufacturer with a verifiable reliability record, longer warranty and good customer service.
