I've just had a new heating system fitted from the company. The heating engineers were outstanding! Nothing has been too much bother for them and they are so pleasant. They did not stop from when they arrived until they left. They have been the tidiest work men I've ever had. I told them 'I'll get that' but they have insisted on doing it themselves. Both guys have been so respectful with regards to the house. Taking their shoes off to go up and downstairs and in any carpeted areas. A real asset to the team. The whole process from survey to completion has been smooth and extremely well organised. I cannot recommend them enough.

I had loft insulation fitted today and the Workmen Gary & Josh worked extremely hard as there was lots of old wood to be lifted, i cannot thank them enough they where on time, very efficient they did an excellent job my loft is looking great & they left my house immaculate. Also I had excellent communication from the office staff, john the canvasser & the Mick the surveyor kept me updated with everything. I would definitely recommend this company, looking forward to my cosy home 🏡

Wouldn't recommend the services on Envirohomes. I used their services for internal wall insulation at my property and there was a number of issues with the quality of their work, place was left in a right mess with really poor quality finishes. Their customer service was abysmal and very difficult to get someone to actually action any points I raised. Eventually, I had to get another company to come out and fix their mess. I am still waiting weeks later for basic information from them. Simply, they don't care. If you value your time and sanity, find another supplier.

Absolutely incredibly poor communication. Was told by surveyor no holes on floor needed and then had the fellas doing 3 more holes on the floorboards! Also a one day job turned into 2 days, where there was no communication on ETA. Had to rearrange one of the appearances as I was at work. Then on another time was told 20 mins away for which 2 hours was still not enough. Absolutely shocking work on electrics on bathroom and kitchen that just makes me cringe every day. Would not recommend. Cherry on top, never had an apology call from the company or any follow up! Cheers

Avoid at all costs. Awful communication from the outset and when they came to put down insulation in our loft one of them fell through the ceiling into our bedroom causing serious damage to our house. They also disturbed asbestos in our artex ceiling and we only found out for ourselves over a week later. They stopped responding to us without repairing the damage caused. Complete disregard for their customers.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know you’re properly qualified and certified to install heat pumps?

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).

Can you tell me if a heat pump is actually suitable for my home?

We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.

What type and size of heat pump will you recommend for my property, and why?

We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.

What will the full installation cost be, and what’s included in your quote?

Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.

Can you help me access government grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?

Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.

How much disruption should I expect during installation, and how long does it take?

A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.

Will I need to replace my radiators or upgrade anything else in my home?

After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.

How noisy is the outdoor unit and where will it be installed?

Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.

What warranties, servicing and aftercare do you provide?

You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.

What running costs and savings can I realistically expect compared to my current boiler?

We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
