We have had a bad experience with this company in an underfloor insulation install although all correspondence was polite and efforts were made to correct damage, this was still highly unsatisfactory.Installation was poor with installers sent to our property appearing to have little knowledge or concern with the integrity of the insulation. Gaps were left at insulation joints and we had to spend sometime pointing out these hand sized gaps to be filled. insulation was cut poorly as they had never used the sheep's wool that they were installing.A 'joiner' was sent to our property and wrecked our floorboards, not in taking then up, but on a poor and I'll considered. Moreover damage was made to the plumbing. The second joiner measured incorrectly, ending with two small floorboard replacements and 5 sightly nearer replacements. The plumber left the radiator balanced on the wall, unfixed and chipped. They were at the property till late at night and despite speaking English forced all communication through one chap, choosing instead to have private conversation s in our presence. They were here late into the night 9 each time and didn't clear up their mess when they left. Since they have left I have had to hammer nails, fill holes, refrain the heating system, refitting a radiator, repair the radiator enamel and plug holes in insulation. Whilst they were polite in communications, I am still left short of time money and emotional energy.

Recently, I had my boiler fitted by Green Energy Scotland. I was very satisfied with service the company provided as everything was done efficiently and up to high standards. I would certainly use the services again.

My friend has recommended Green Energy Scotland and I would do the same as they have been very professional and helpful from start to finish. I am very happy with the solution they have offered for my property as well as fast service and further advice.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
