This was the second time I have contracted Lee from HSB to install things. The first time was a 16kWh Sigen battery and gateway to provide emergency cover during power cuts. The second time was to move said battery, adding another 9kWh module and install 7.3kw of solar. On both occasions Josh and his apprentice performed the work, this time the apprentice being Gareth. The quotes were fair, and all the work was carried out with care for my property and true professionalism. I will use them again and can recommend them to anyone.

Having decided to install solar panels we researched local firms and, based on price, installed equipment reviews and reviews of the company itself. We decided upon HSB Renewables. It was a great decision, from contacting Lee to thanking Josh and Gareth on completion; the service, communication and especially the actual installation was exemplary. Nothing phased Josh or Gareth, not the weather or the technical difficulties dealing with an older property that has a loft conversion and another loft that was inaccessible. Everything was completed professionally, knowledgably and with good humour. The stages were explained – in layman’s terms thankfully and the instruction and advice given were fantastic. I have no hesitation in recommending HSB Renewables to anyone. Fantastic Service.

Josh and Gareth just spent a long week at our home, fitting pv inverter and batteries along with heat pumps and an ev charge point. They worked very neatly, kept us informed at all stages of the project, and adapted well when a few curveballs came along (outside of their control... old building with thick walls means poor wifi). Happy to recommend.

Lee and his team Josh and Joe did 2 installations for me. 2 x9.5kw GivEnergy battery system to go with my existing solar array. Then a month later a new 3.3kw solar system. From start to finish all three provided a great service. The combined 2 systems are working far better than I ever expected. I can highly reccomend HSB.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
