Great service. From quote to completion, the team at LGS have been straightforward and clear. They provided clear advice on how to update our central heating system. We commissioned them to replace our gas-boiler with an ASHP, involving a removal of the boiler and all radiators. They proved easy to work with, professional, methodical, efficient, thorough and paid good attention to detail. I have appreciated the quality of their workmanship.

We used this company to do a landlord gas safety and boiler service on a new tenancy. Unfortunately, a gas leak was found from one of the pipes. They pulled out all the stops & to get the work done swiftly & make safe for our tenant. Highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

I couldn’t be happier with the heat pump installation carried out by Ben and the team at LGS. From the initial consultation to the final setup, everything was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care. The team were punctual, tidy, and clearly very knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the system and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. It’s rare to find such a reliable and friendly service these days. Highly recommended.

When my Air Source Heat pump broke down I got 3 quotes and chose Ben and his team at LGS as he was very professional and laid out clearly what he could and couldnt (restricted from the original install) do to make the system work more efficiently as it had been costing me a fair bit to heat the house. The guys who did the work were friendly and professional and Ben came round to check the system was working and fixed a glitch as the original install 10 years ago was done by builders learning on the job and was all over the shop. Now I have a great efficient system that not only works well, but is saving me money and looks great too. Would 100% recommend this company

LGS installed our heat pump and upgraded radiators. They started with a sensible system-design approach (low flow-temp for higher efficiency), and at the design stage, Ben listened, and was responsive, to our design requirements. When it came to implementation, the team were efficient and did a very tidy job with both plumbing and electricals. Post install LGS have been extremely quick at dealing with the couple of (very minor) snags that have arisen. Based on observations from the cold snap immediately after installation, our heat pump is exceeding performance expectations, so we are very happy!

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
