Awful shoddy fitting of our heat source system and ongoing problems since day one; we have had countless visits from Macbrook, surveys carried out incorrectly with the wrong-sized equipment being fitted in our property resulting in initial sky-high energy bills. Rude installers in our property during the last visit, speaking badly of us in our own home, thinking they couldn’t be heard in our kitchen, to which I walked into the kitchen and made it clear that I could hear what had just been said. Then standing around in the garden gossiping for hours whilst we were having ongoing heating issues. One engineer even stood in our kitchen on a visit before saying that the boiler issue could have resulted in an explosion in our home! Now we are experiencing a leak in our garage, surprise surprise, from the same rubbish equipment that was fitted under the government scheme, and being advised by Macbrook that as we are now outside of the warranty, we will have to pay for a return visit! Disgusting service. I really really wish we had never had this system fitted and had used a different company rather than being messed about for what is now 4 years! I very very rarely leave bad reviews (look at my history and you can see I’ve only published them under exceptional circumstances) but this is just exhausting now dealing with this company and being told we had to pay to get an engineer out again really was the icing on top of the cake this morning. **I was also advised when I called in today, telling the office we have a leak and no hot water due to loss of water pressure (FU error - as per previous call-outs), that a manager would call back. The office is now closed, no phone call back. We have young children and have no hot water due to a failed system. This is not good enough.

James was polite, friendly and professional. Happy to let him get on with the job. I’ve yet to hear the proposal but the survey was excellent, thank you.

Boiler service was done without problems. Recommended works were then advised. Paid the original quote only for the engineer who arrived for the appointment to tell us when he arrived it had been quoted incorrectly and an additional item was needed - nearly doubling the quote price. No proper explanation given just 'not in the scopes of work'. We then had to get in contact ourselves with the company at least twice and no explanation given and even had to ask for an apology - apology only given for the inconvenience. Did not get the works completed and went to another company where customer service was much better. Incredibly disappointed.

We had a heatsource pump and solar panels fitted 3 years ago. The mess left was unbelievable, they replaced radiators and pipework. Broke the loft ladder, left holes in walls and didn't even say about the broken ladder. They bagged up our copper to weigh in, didn't ask for that either. The wiring wasn't even connected to the pump outside, we had to call them out again to fix their mistakes. We are still waiting for the relevant information so we can sell the unused electricity back to the grid. 3 years in the making! So many emails sent....maybe now this review has been left, I might get a response.

Had a boiler replacement, major works carried out as old boiler a back boiler so move and all associated plumbing, super efficient team worked solid for 9 hours in recent heatwave to complete all but electrics on day 1, very respectful of property and making good. Next day electrician arrived to complete the wiring work and fit thermostat totally ahead of schedule and all complete in a day and a few hours. Really could not ask for more some wanted a week for this work and I felt the price was reasonable. Thanks to all involved, EDF passed my enquiry to MacBook originally It's refreshing to find such a efficient team Very pleased
