We used Mcghie Plumbing and Heating via our builder for installing hot water underfloor heating in half of our ground floor which was a combination of our brand new extension (with 2025-standard floor construction), and the old 1980-built solid concrete slab kitchen & dining room floor. This meant that some of the usual methods of installation were impractical, so Steven came along with a dust-extracting concrete router, and, after patiently marking out the optimum pipe routing, he routed out the floor, and laid in the pipes in a day! The whole process was about 2 days. He took time to answer our questions and reassure us about a technology that we had never experienced before. He was so knowledgeable, and so enthusiastic about what he did, it was a pleasure to learn from him. If we ever need to install underfloor elsewhere, we will be asking for Steven back again.
