Clueless company.Avoid at all costs
Had a delightful young man (Kieran) arrive to fix a constant leek from MCK Plumbing. Very professional, competent, efficient, respectful and polite. Found the problem promptly and solved the issue. Very happy customer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both Kieran and MCK Plumbing.
We have been using MCK for our plumbing requirements for over 10 years. Boiler servicing, replacement radiators, heated towel rails, thermostats etc. The service is second to none. From efficient friendly office staff to the plumbers who attend to carry out the work in a professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend.
I contacted MCK Plumbing and they came out the same day to inspect my faulty boiler. They pinpointed the problem as a failed expansion vessel, ordered the replacement part right away, and returned two days later to complete the repair. Clear explanations, fair pricing, and excellent workmanship. Couldn’t ask for better service. Will definitely use again.
If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. This is without a doubt the worst service we have ever received from any boiler company. We had our boiler serviced by MCK, and immediately after the service, the heating on our ground floor stopped working—despite everything functioning perfectly beforehand. It then took an entire week to get an engineer back out, only for us to be told that, coincidentally, the thermostat had “broken” right after the service on a system that is barely 2 years old. To make matters worse, even the engineer admitted on-site that everything was working fine prior to the service. Yet now, the company is refusing to take responsibility and is instead trying to charge us for a brand-new thermostat. Their explanation? That they couldn’t possibly have caused the issue—despite the timing being more than suspicious. We are now left without heating in our ground floor because of their incompetence and refusal to act responsibly. Avoid this company at all costs. Absolutely disgraceful service. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY — THEY ARE A SCAM.
