We have just had well over a year’s wonderful performance with our new cooker/boiler. There were two minor issues in that time which were dealt with quickly and efficiently … but it was not installed by Neville Tucker Services. We had to get rid of the Firebird range which they installed some years ago before it was life expired. From the get go it broke down, was repaired, broke down, was repaired, over and over again. It pumped toxic fumes into our kitchen and the bedroom above and oily smuts over the kitchen work surfaces. And this range was recommended by one of their directors - in fact we went to his house to see his Firebird.!We finally left the “care” of NTS when they wanted to charge us a separate service charged for the boiler and then one for the coooker. The representative of Firebird cookers in the UK was as useful as a chocolate teapot. When we finally had had enough and it was decommissioned, we found that the expansion vessel had been incorrectly installed, the balanced flue did not work properly and the electrical wiring had been housed in copper piping. This was on top of the burned carpets during installation. Would we recommend NTS. No, we would not. Why isn’t there a 0 star option?
