The listed building approval took some time, but PHR kept us updated all the way through, which really helped. Once we got the go ahead, the work was carried out to a good standard and everything was handled professionally. Big thanks you to the office girls. I was a bit nervous about getting a heat pump but honestly, it’s been great so far, no issues at all and the house feels really warm. Overall, really happy with the results. Would defintely recommend.

We recently had solar panels, battery storage, and an EV charger installed by PHR, and the experience has been outstanding from start to finish. From the very first conversation, it was clear that PHR have exceptional knowledge of renewable energy systems and whole house energy efficiency. They managed the entire installation process, including all the technical requirements and the DNO application, which gave us complete peace of mind. Since the install, we’re now generating our own electricity, charging our EV at home, and even earning money by exporting surplus energy back to the grid. The savings on our energy bills have been immediate and significant, and the system has been set up perfectly to maximise long-term return. If you’re considering solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers, or other renewable upgrades, I highly recommend enquiring with PHR. Their professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail really set them apart. An excellent company delivering real results.

PHR installed our air source heat pump, solar PV, batteries, and full M&E on our new-build property. Excellent install quality and great service throughout. They remotely monitor the system and fine-tuned it to suit how we actually live, which made a real difference.

PHR fitted heating equipment under the eco scheme. It was a nightmare! They left my house in a complete mess and had to constantly chase them up to rectify problems. I wasn’t even showed how to use the system. From the start they only seemed interested in getting the funding for their own benefit. There are plenty of reputable companies out there that will take the customers needs into consideration. I will no longer be using them.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
