I recently had the SAS company service my outdated security alarm system, that was originally installed by them , which I inherited from the previous owner. When I booked the appointment for the service, no price or quote was provided. I was informed that the engineer would provide the pricing during the visit. However, during the visit, the engineer did not provide a specific quote but mentioned that the battery replacement would cost around £40. I was surprised to receive a bill of £172.80 in the mail, which lacked any details or breakdown of the charges. When I called the office seeking clarification, I was connected to the same engineer who had visited my house. He simply confirmed that the bill amount was correct but was unable to provide any further information. I couldn't help but wonder why he didn't mention the price during the visit if he was aware of it. This experience feels like a blatant act of overcharging, and now I realize that there were warning signs all along that I failed to notice. I will never engage in any future business with them. Their unprofessional behavior is truly disappointing.

After our Insurance advised we needed to get our old alarm system replaced and get a police response, we asked Select Alarms to quote.
