While doing cavity wall insulation survey, they have reported our flat to police over a my son's airsoft pistol, which resulted in countless armed police forcing entry while nobody was there, breaking the door skirting and flipping the whole place upside-down searching for a firearm (spoiler alert, they didnt), a neighbour had phoned me telling us that was police was looking for us, our son which was nearby came to investigate, he was immediately detained for suspicion of possessing a illegal firearm (which holds 10 years sentence minimum and is not a pleasing thing to say to a 20 year old), Lucky there was no legal implications for us and the airsoft pistol was surrendered (the pistol wasn't working anyway). This caused us insurmountable mental anguish and we haven't even heard a singular apology from the company in question. For next time please mind your own businesses.
Not impressed overall
One star isn’t even appropriate, customer service is null , skilled trade again depends on who they send . They left us with 1 day an apprentice on his own whom couldn’t fix the issue , engineers turning up when they like . Day 2 still waiting after 2 months of solar not working with no shows . Next appointment day 3 fixed in 10mins ( also stated they can’t Believe this could be fixed just a simple wiring error ) . This system had been incorrectly wired from day 1 and has never worked . We are at a loss of 2 days work and a days holiday also 2 months of higher energy costs because of the business no 1 not installing correctly No 2 timekeeping No 3 skills on the job
Their contracted installer caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to my home. He admitted it in multiple text messages and offered to pay for the damages. As soon as the insurance companies solicitors got in touch, he changed his mind. Case now with solicitors and I am left £450 out of pocket despite having a text message saying "I won't see you out of pocket". Union Technical were main contractor and contract was signed with them so the ultimately responsible but also say its not their fault. Do not recommend. Not worth the hassle and the heartbreak.
