Had solar panels installed as part of the Warmer Homes funding. All started off well with the initial person being responsive until all my details were in their system. Then when I followed up to find out what's next got brushed off and told it would be easier for him if I called the office! Took a couple of calls before I got dates for the next steps. Surveyor came out from another company who was excellent and told us we would be eligible for a 3kw installation. Then it went back to Advanced Eco and I had to chase up a couple of times to get installation dates. On the day, the electricians came out and sorted everything pretty quickly and left the loft in a decent state. But when the solar panel installers came in they left broke roof tiles and a number of tiles had slipped that they didn't bother to move back into place. I was only able to see these when the scaffolding was taken down so was unable to sort it then as they never told me. When the paperwork was sent so I could get onto the correct tariffs they had spelled my name incorrectly, got my address wrong and made some other mistakes so I then had to spend weeks chasing this up. Finally got the paperwork which said they were meant to install 2kw (not the 3kw the surveyor said we were eligible for) but stated quite clearly they had only installed 1.5kw. So I chased this up a number if times over the last few months and have had zero replies. I now need to pay for scaffolding and a roofer to sort the tiles and will also have to find another installer to add enough panels to make it worthwhile having solar. Personally I would avoid this company at all costs as their communication is awful, they left me with issues that will cost me to sort and clearly couldn't care less.
