I wish I had never used Eco Energy Ltd for my solar panels. They fitted them on the wrong side of my roof meaning that all the calculations they provided were wrong. After much complaining and refusing to pay they said they didn’t understand what the issue was! Almost had to get a lawyer involved but they did see sense and rectify it. Absolute shambles from start to finish. Please please do not use this company as it will result in a huge headache!
I have submitted a formal complaint following a very uncomfortable call with this company. I had previously enquired about solar panels, but when contacted I politely explained that I was no longer interested. When they called again later that day and I explained that I had already declined, the caller was rude and confrontational and began questioning why I had submitted my details in the first place, I was totally shocked at the unprofessionalism, the caller was sarcastic and super rude, I was so confused as to what was going on, and they ended up ending the call after I had said stop, stop , stop. Making an enquiry doesn’t mean I’m obliged to proceed, and I shouldn’t have to justify changing my mind to a salesperson. The way I was spoken to was completely unnecessary and left me feeling very uncomfortable. I’ve submitted a formal complaint and asked the company to review the call recording. AVOID the enquiry, the sales guy I spoke to was not ok. As of 24 hours later, I have received 2 more calls but them both cutting off and a request to see if I am genuine. I am indeed, if you can please reply to my written correspondence dated Friday 18th September, just formally again. I do not wish to receive any more calls from your company. If you wish to contact me, please do so in writing. I hope they do, but they probably won’t. Only reply to positive reviews which is a huge shame
Never kept the survey visit (they later called it a ‘sales visit’) appointment, and then no response when I complained that my wife had come home early for it and nobody showed up. Useless.
