Serious concerns regarding ECO4 installation works We applied for an ECO4 grant and were approved for insulation, solar panels, and a heat pump. Unfortunately, our experience with this company was extremely poor and deeply disappointing. Communication was unacceptable. Staff turnover was high, making it difficult to speak with the same person or get clear, timely responses. The insulation team arrived a day early at 4pm, offered no apology, and demanded immediate completion. The solar panel team, by contrast, were polite and professional — the only positive part of the project. The heat pump installation was chaotic. A van arrived with equipment but no engineers attended. When the team eventually arrived, the work was poorly executed. Multiple pipes were connected incorrectly, causing the water tank to overfill and flood our utility room. Electrical wiring was dangerously near pipes, structural damage occurred, and carpets and belongings were broken. Further visits left the upstairs in a shocking state: floorboards unsecured, a missing floorboard hidden under carpet, and rubbish left behind. Multiple incorrect tradespeople attended — for example, a plumber sent to plaster a hole — and paperwork had to be repeatedly chased. One radiator was installed incorrectly, requiring yet another visit and lifting floorboards again. Approximately four months after the work was “completed,” scaffolding appeared at our property with no communication. The company attempted to remove two solar panels, claiming compliance issues. After multiple discussions, it was agreed they would be repositioned rather than removed. Despite this, they have not returned to finish the work. Scheduled visits were missed, scaffolding remains, and emails go unanswered. Staff made inappropriate comments such as, “Well, you got it for free,” which were offensive and unprofessional. In summary, this project caused consistent problems over three to four months, fell far below reasonable standards, and remains unfinished. We strongly advise others to avoid this company

Absolutely appalling service. Insulation was meant to be completed within 3 days. Absolute lie. The work took 5 days and the 3 workers were there until 9.45pm which disrupted my 3 year old disabled son plus half of the street. The mess left behind was awful. Causing my son conjunctivitis which resulted in antibiotics. Now on to the work. Absolute shambles. Plastering is awful. Lumps an bumps everywhere. Visible plaster board lines. Then my blinds ruined isnt the word. Apparently they said they were in disrepair when they taken them down. This is not the case. Beads were taken off the blinds due to them being a choking hazard to my son. Was offered £150 as a gesture of good will. Which is shocking after the mess that was left. Further action has been taken but yet to here a response

Jim and Al came and insulated three walls and plaster in my house. They were pleasant guys and did everything quickly. The standard looks fine, but I'm not claiming to be an expert. Overall happy at this point. Also thanks to the Labour government for funding this scheme. 👌🎄

Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The communication was okay. We were told when they were coming and at what time and you could track them as well a few niggly bits but they came out to sort most of them out. The only downside is that I have a small hole in the roof. The outside of my house looks like a chemical plant and the heat pump was not where we suggested there are a few old radiator pipes which are still sticking out of the wall and my electricity bill has gone through the roof. I have asked for an instruction manual of how to use the heat pump But still waiting

Terrible experience from start to finish, no discussion regarding battery options but then told to change the inverter was £400 that's without any batteries. The install was one mess after another, they clearly don't understand housekeeping or how to use a dustpan and brush or a vacuum cleaner. Potentially dangerous electrical connection or lack of, as an earth cable was just pushed into a hole in the wall. Thermostats on the water cylinder were incorrect. Water through the lounge ceiling, whilst they repainted the walls the ceiling remains untouched. Poor/lack of communication from their office expecting their customer to be psychic. You should Avoid this company if you expect a professional and safe installation.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
