Absolutely outrageous charges! I had smoke alarms and heat detectors as per government regulations and two LED floodlights fitted. He also fixed kitchen light that wasn’t working. Work was done well but over a £1000 charged! Would certainly not recommend.

My heating tripped this morning and I’m disabled so I have trouble staying warm. I couldn’t find a free gas engineer in Dumfries as they were all on holiday or off sick.phoned Derek Mitchell’s and they couldn’t have been more helpful! Although they couldn’t send someone out they gave me a number of an ex employee who started up their own business and managed to slot me in for tomorrow afternoon. Beyond 5 star service!
