This firm spent a significant time trying to fix two underfloor heating loops that weren't working including installing 3 poor quality thermostats, (in 2 different bedrooms and a landing). They still didn't solve the problem? I recently started to research this myself and have spent a lot of time trying different things. I eventually realised one of the valves on the manifold in a hidden loft was turned off completely?! A simple rebalance fixed the problem. The thermostats are a nightmare to programme however and should have never been installed / used? I can't believe two so called expert engineers in a house all day wouldn't have spotted a valve turned down? Now that I know this I decided that they'd be ok to do a simple heat pump annual service and have tried 3 times to get them to call back? Every time a woman answers and says he's on the phone he'll call you back? He never does? I've even said... I've called once / twice etc and he's on the phone. She laughs and says he is again?!! None of this adds up to the kind of people you want to rely on and a shortage of heat pump experts in Norfolk kind of gives you no choice? My advice would be stay clear. Ego's and attitudes at play here :-(

I was very impressed with Finn Geotherm in their installation of my ashp. From the start, I found all the people I spoke to at Finn Geotherm really helpful and professional - I was never talked down to or blinded by ashp-technical-speak. I know of a few friends who have gone this route of having retro heat pumps fitted and there is not one of them that reports a good experience. The Finn Geotherm people working at my house were all really friendly and polite, respecting that they were in my home. They were confident and knowledgeable in the work they were doing. I was kept informed all the while and they showed great attention to detail, including sending me all the documentation I might ever need, properly recorded and stored. My house now is warm all over and unlike the previous electric boiler, I can afford to run the heating. I am so relieved with this result.

When we contacted Finn Geotherm we were immediately impressed with their friendly service and efficiency, with an initial estimate produced over the phone, followed by an onsite survey. All our questions were thoroughly and promptly answered and the whole process was completed in less than 2 months. All of the admin, grant applications, permissions and certifications, were done for us and we were kept informed of each step by phone and email throughout. The installation team were very personable and equally efficient, worked tidily, keeping us informed of progress at each stage of their work. We are really pleased with the service and professionalism. Also our ASHP is working so smoothly, running our underfloor heating together with lots of hot water. Highly recommended

Finn Geotherm installed our air source heat pump 3 years ago. I couldn’t be happier with it! From initial survey to installation and annual servicing the team continues to show excellent professionalism and friendliness at every encounter. My house is the perfect temperature and I always have plenty of hot water all year round. Thanks FGT!

Highly recommend! I recently moved into my new build property that has an air source heating system. From the minute I moved in the heating wouldn’t work and kept cutting out. The developer didn’t have a clue how it worked and the installers were not interested at all, so being completely stuck I called Panasonic who gave me Finn Geotherm’s number. From start to finish they have been so professional and knowledgeable. It can’t be easy taking over someone else’s installation, but they found the problem, rectified it and it’s now running perfectly. Thank you again.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
