I fully recommend GEC Power for solar, the total installation, from start to finish they were brilliant. The original survey was a no pressure visit, with all the benefits of solar explained. The quote arrived the next day with all the details of what the installation consisted of, expectations of savings details of the solar productivity. Once I agreed to go with GEC, they organised all the paperwork and legal agreements with the electric board (DNO). The installation was excellent with a very professional polite team, the scaffolders came and explained where they needed to erect the scaffold and left full access to the garage. The electricians and roofers, explaining everything about the installation they would be doing and sited the battery, inverter and switch gear where I asked it to go. Once they had commissioned the system, they helped me and my wife set up the app to view and run the system, explaining all the details about the app, advised on energy suppliers which give the best returns when using solar. Answered any questions I had and made sure I was happy before leaving. The whole system was installed in a day, cleaned up and left tidy. I would recommend this company to anyone considering getting solar installed
GEC were quick to respond to our initial request for a quote for solar and batteries. There was no sales pressure and once we agreed to go ahead, they quickly arranged an initial property inspection with a surveyor who turned up on time, to check the proposed location and talk through options. All the office team and installation team that we dealt with were very courteous and efficient, keeping us informed of progress and next steps. The installation was quick, well coordinated and very tidy, leaving us with a PV and battery system that we are very happy with. We have already recommended GEC to friends.
