Grand Union did an incredible job on our home renovation, delivering a wide range of plumbing and heating works to an exceptionally high standard. As part of the renovation of our 45-year-old house, we asked them to completely redesign and replace the entire heating and plumbing system throughout the property. Their work included: - Removing and relocating the water tank, while rerouting all associated pipework to the garage. - Installing a wet underfloor heating system across the entire ground floor, including the removal and capping of the existing radiators. - Supplying and fitting a water softener. - Most importantly, supplying and installing an air source heat pump. Although I already had a good understanding of heat pumps and had carried out extensive research to ensure it was the right solution for our home, Mitch and the team made the whole process even easier. They took the time to explain how a heat pump transforms a home's heating system and spent countless hours reviewing the details, calculations, and design considerations with us. Their goal was to ensure we received a solution that was perfectly tailored to our needs, both now and for many years to come. As you can imagine, a project of this scale took around two months to complete. However, every day was spent carefully crafting and refining the solution rather than simply rushing to the finish line. The craftsmanship that Connor demonstrated throughout the project was exceptional. His ability to understand and work with such a complex system is truly impressive. I genuinely cannot recommend the team highly enough for anyone considering an air source heat pump installation. Grand Union also invests heavily in quality materials. The pipes, fittings, valves, and serviceable components they use are all premium products. While this undoubtedly increases their costs and reduces their margins, it delivers long-term value that homeowners will appreciate once the system is in use. Trust me, it is well worth the investment. Their pricing and processes were very much in line with the market. Before moving forward, I gathered numerous quotes and carried out extensive comparisons. What ultimately set Grand Union apart was their level of customer care, professionalism, and attention to detail.
