Had someone come to my home a while back to have a look at solar panels. Said I would need 9 and it would be £10,000. I said I would think about it and he was really pushing for me to sign off on it. Stood my ground and continued that I would look into it for myself before deciding. Glad I did cause a couple weeks later I got another company to have a look. I would have wasted £10,000 with greener energy group. Because the other company that came to have a look said I would only be able to fit 4 panels on my roof and because of the way my roof sits I wouldn't get a great yield and it would have been a waste to even put them up. So moral of the story be wary and get second opinions. Could save you from losing a lot of money
Excellent service from beginning to hand over , staff very helpful and knowledgeable . Would highly recommend, thank you greener energy group
There were some teething problems at the beginning as the original quote for solar & inverter was unachievable due to using Google Maps to try and place the solar panels. However, they were great at working with us to get a workable solution and to get it fitted asap. I have to say Leanne in the office was great at getting everything sorted. The fitters were fantastic too.
GEG seem to be really hit or miss. Came recommended to us but from our experience they've been poor. They took £500 deposit for heatpump. We wasted time sorting the grant etc and when the engineer came out he said the salesman should never have said it was possible for our house. They ignored calls and emails and only returned the deposit after I posted a bad review. At least we did get all our money back
The installer was professional and got on with the installation tidying up as he went along. The installation was completed within the day. We had one issue with connecting the hive app but they quickly resolved this. I would have no hesitation recommending green energy based on our experience.
