A superb, customer-focused, professional, fun, and fast company — 5 stars. We chose Heat Different over several Norfolk-based installers to carry out a full central heating installation in a house with a non-traditional setup. From the outset, their approach stood out. Using only the house sale information, Heat Different swiftly provided an initial budget estimate for us to review. This is where the difference became clear. Craig, the frontman of Heat Different, is 100% customer-focused. His approach was thoughtful and accommodating — even arranging a site visit to my workplace to make things easier for me. The quote was refined through further visits, with clever options like modern twists on standard radiators to maximise usable space. Once we accepted the quote, scheduling was quick and flexible. Unlike smaller outfits, Heat Different has a full team, which meant Allan progressed the project smoothly even while some team members were on holiday. Luke led the installation alongside Samy, and their work was superb — striking the perfect balance between beauty and efficiency. Hidden elements were professionally done, and visible ones were fantastic. We sacrificed some garage space to maximise the house’s layout, and their thoughtful pipework gave the space an “engineering plant room” feel that more than made up for it. Throughout the installation, the team was respectful of the property — a trait sadly missing from many others who’ve worked on the house during its renovation. We also entrusted Heat Different with the groundworks, and Tim took charge of this, expertly handling the base and clearing a root-filled soakaway along the way. In any project, you need to balance budget with trust in the people doing the job. It’s unrealistic to expect a snag-free experience, but the few issues we encountered were handled swiftly and without fuss — a testament to the company’s customer-first ethos. David commissioned the system and provided a thorough explanation of how it works, which was especially helpful given our previous experience with a combi boiler setup. In summary: A great team, customer-focused from start to finish. Based on our experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending Heat Different. It’s easy to see why their office has won recent awards.

We have been considering the idea of installing a heat pump in our home as we are all electric and the boiler was eye-wateringly expensive to run. Following research we decided to use HeatDifferent and from the outset they have been brilliant. So I required a retro fit of a heat pump system into an old house with old plumbing. I wanted to discuss the best solution and all I got back was quotes from numerous suppliers for an installed system. I had lots of questions and issues to resolve and wanted to discuss. Heat Different spent time discussing the options and we came up with a plan. Craig and team were brilliant. They use modern press fit plumbing, planned the plumbing before starting and did an excellent tight and clean install. We had an issue with a plate exchanger, that was not performing, they discussed and replaced with Viessmann without issue very quickly, cannot ask more. I have a Viessmann heat pump which is keenly priced and efficient. Sat here warm and cosy, I cannot recommend more. I have added some photos through the install, to give an idea (the plumbing was installed behind a cupboard as requested by an awkward customer).

Thanks to the whole team at Heat Different. The job was completed as agreed and to our satisfaction. A leak did occur during the commissioning process which is likely to have caused considerable delay for other installers. Heat Different resolved this problem with little fuss/mess. All people/companies make mistakes and it is the ability to resolve these to the customers satisfaction that counts. Well done Heat Different! Although the system is not yet being used for heating due to the weather we have every confidence that during the next cold spell it will perform as designed.

I spotted Craig's sign written Vans on the A11 and was seeking air source heat installation for our multiple barn renovation. I contacted them (and a few others). Craig was first to turn up, he was really professional, knowledgeable, approachable and understood that we didn't know a thing about air source. We had 3 units installed and the whole team have done a fantastic job. The installation was smooth, exceptionally neat, it works great so all our newbie fears have disappeared. I got all the paperwork through and the warranty. We love our underfloor air source heating, it is perfect, warm and easy to use. I'd certainly recommend Heat Different and would reassure anyone committing to a change in heating it is a breeze with their team.
