Solar PV and Battery Install. We have used our solar/ battery setup for just over a year now and we’re delighted with the results. In summary, electricity bill is now virtually zero for our house. Leant on David’s expertise when considering solar layout, battery capacity, inverter rating and the whole G98/ G99 discussion. After the initial inquiry to M&F Group we had a visit from David to scope the work involved and explain the whole process. From there we received a quote that was competitive to others we had received. Excellent communication from David regarding the main tasks and dates, all happening as planned; scaffolding, parts delivery, applications to Scottish Power and solar / battery installation day. Solar panels and battery were all installed on the same day for us, and up in running in the late afternoon. Special mention to Ian for the cabling work, super neat, clearly labelled and hidden where possible - that was on a run from the roof through attic and 2 room cupboards to the garage. Finally, David was/ is available for questions and will let you know of software updates, etc. Really happy with our set-up and was great to work with the M&F team.
Absolutely delighted with service and the end result. From my first enquiry phone calls to site visit and post install follow up David has been tremendous. Install team were all friendly, carried out all work in one day even stayed later to complete and went out thier way to make sure we were happy with everything. Post install everything was left neat and tidy. I can highly recommend to anyone considering solar and battery installation. Thank you to the whole team.
Great installation by M&F Group who travelled a long way to the NE with everything required for the job. Battery and inverter were installed very neatly into the corner of the garage and a very tidy connection into our old wiring. They cut and made good paths where necessary to cable into the solar array and connections back to the meter. Follow up support to set everything up was fantastic and we will definitely use them again if we extend the system in the future. Many thanks to Ian and David for a job well done.
I would highly recommend M&F Group. David and his team provided excellent guidance on the best battery and solar solution for our home. The necessary paperwork was explained clearly, and all work was completed to a high standard with minimal disruption. David has provided ongoing support since the installation and is always available to answer questions regarding the system and energy tariffs.
