Kevin and his team of engineers installed an ASHP and new cylinder for us, along with upgrading 10 radiators. The team were tidy, professional and courteous throughout the 4 day works. The quality of the install is superb, with lots of thoughtful finishing touches to make things tidy and efficient, including ducting to hide the outside piping. We would recommend Kevin and team without hesitation.

So happy with my new air source heat pump install. Kevin and his team are extremely professional and the workmanship is top notch. I have been extremely impressed through the whole process. Kevin came out and did the initial surveys and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Matt and his team them installed the new system and removed the old system that was absolutely terrible and extremely inefficient. Matt and his team worked extremely hard and the job looks amazing! My daily energy costs has dropped by over 50% and I now have an efficient, quiet, cost effective system. The after sales service has also been excellent. Very happy customer

We made an excellent decision when we chose Kevin to install our ground source heating system. He also carries out its annual service. All work was carried out to a very high standard. Kevin is very reliable, works to a high standard and is helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend K A Stripp Ltd.

Kevin and his team did a thorough job measuring the heat loss in each room and working out the size of ground source heat pump and increased size radiators we needed, and estimating the costs and savings we should achieve. After we accepted, his groundworks contractor dug 660 metres of 1 metre deep, 200mm wide trenches using a land drain machine, and covered them up with soil after. Then his team installed the pipework and vessels and pumps, and gave us all the documentation we needed to claim the RHI incentive. The cost was as estimated , and the system worked well from the start, a few minor niggles were sorted out very quickly by his team, and heat pump performance during winter (and other seasons) was very satisfactory, made more so by the increased price of energy. We are happy to recommend Kevin and his team.

Kevin and his team (Anthony and Jake) have done an excellent job of installing our ASHP, which produces easily enough hot water and all our heating at a fraction of the cost of electricity (all we otherwise have!) We were nervous about going ahead, concerned about the noise of the pump, whether it would keep the house warm enough, whether the hot water would be hot enough for showers etc.. Have no worries - this stuff works! And it was fitted quickly, neatly and with minimal disruption in about six working days. Well worth five stars.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
