My partner purchased an air source heat pump for our home four years ago through Renewafuel, and it has since become clear that we were seriously mis-sold the system. Independent assessment has confirmed the unit installed is oversized for the property, the primary pipework was undersized, and the overall installation was poorly designed. As a result, we are now paying a qualified plumber to rectify issues that should never have existed in the first place. The installer’s attitude at the time was rude and unapproachable, which in hindsight reflects the standard of workmanship carried out. Renewafuel’s aftercare has been virtually non-existent, leaving us with no option but to fund corrective works ourselves. Having since read numerous similar reviews, it appears this is not an isolated experience but a recurring issue. I would strongly advise anyone considering Renewafuel to do thorough independent checks before proceeding.

Had solar panels installed by this company and the whole experience has been terrible. Once they took the money, they disappeared. They promised to install a switch so we'd have power from the grid during an outage — it was never fitted. They've ignored emails for almost two years, and we're now having to get the equipment manufacturer involved just to get a solution. Don’t be misled by their positive reviews. They offer customers discounts in exchange for leaving them, which says it all. A completely unprofessional, unreliable company that doesn’t care about after-sales service. Avoid.

I had my Ecodan ASHP installed end of October 2025, the pre sales service was excellent, everything was explained/presented in a clear & concise manner, the survey & output documents were 1st class, installation was seamless, Ryan & team were extremely professional & treated our home with the utmost respect and left everything clean & tidy, the after sales experience has also been excellent, with any snagging or issues/questions I had they were resolved in a timely manner & nothing was too much trouble, I would highly recommend Renewafuel for any installations

I did not know too much about Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Panels but after my first meeting with the Renewafuel representative everything was made clear to me in a way I could understand fully, all of the equipment fitted Air Source Pump and Solar Panels etc. are of high quality and fitted to the highest standard. The team fitting the Heat Pump were excellent and and kept me informed as to what was going on and went that extra mile to ensure I was happy with the end result, great team of guys and very approachable and kept the house clean at all times. Great team fitting the Solar Panels also, you would have hardly known they were here apart from a little banging on the roof at times. Electrician wiring the batteries and fitting car charger was also excellent and was also able to answer any questions we had. I must also mention the Renewafuel back in the office who were very helpful and always available to answer any questions or fix any issues we had. To sum up all the people we dealt with at Renewafuel were excellent and the customer service was superb, all equipment fitted aw of a very high standard and the work was carried out professionally and to the highest of standards and I would highly recommend looking at Renewafuel if looking to fit a Heat Pump, Solar Panels or a Car Charger. Recently had Solar Panel and battery system installed. The process was so easy and i was kept informed throughout the process. As i was keen to have a system installed the process only took 7 days from start to finish. I had already recieved quotes for a system from other suppliers but Renewafuels proposal provided me with a higher spec system at a lower price.
