After having 2 recommendations from friends and Google maps reviews of 4.2, we decided to ask for a quotation for solar panels and battery. Our 1st contact over the phone and emails were Danielle, who was professional, polite and prompt. Their salesperson Darryl visited our property. Our 1st impressions of Darryl were positive. Then Darryl started talking about heat pumps, and mid conversation we reminded that we were interested in solar panels and battery only. Darryl then started to compliment us by saying how wonderful and laid back we were. Darryl went on started talking about his wife, who is recovering from a serious illness and he had a derogatory nick name for her. We reminded Darryl again about solar panels and battery and we wished to pay in full instead of finance. Darryl however, started talking about heat pumps and monthly instalments. Darryl then telephoned his boss Kelly who was on holiday in Abu Dhabi. Kelly rang back after 10 minutes, Darryl attempted to butter us up with Kelly. It all felt like a game plan from the beginning. We said, we will sleep over it, make a decision and phone you back. Darryl At 1st said no problem, and later offered us discounts on surveys as well as carried on talking about instalments. Kelly and Darryl told us they would ring us on WhatsApp because it is encrypted and bank transfers would be safer. They offered 2 provisional dates for surveys. Darryl was in our property for 3 hours!, The only information we were left with was about finance on a half of A4 sheet. Nothing about solar panels or battery. We asked for some fact sheets/ information, Darryl advised us to take photos of them. Again nothing but finance. Now, why would I spend my hard earned life savings with a company, that their salesperson makes derogatory comments about their wife? An old school grind them down with pressure and waffle for 3 hours sales tactics are off putting and dated. I telephoned the company the day later to let them know our decision and the gentleman on the phone was polite and professional. His name was Josh. Would not recommend.

I had my Ecodan ASHP installed end of October 2025, the pre sales service was excellent, everything was explained/presented in a clear & concise manner, the survey & output documents were 1st class, installation was seamless, Ryan & team were extremely professional & treated our home with the utmost respect and left everything clean & tidy, the after sales experience has also been excellent, with any snagging or issues/questions I had they were resolved in a timely manner & nothing was too much trouble, I would highly recommend Renewafuel for any installations

My partner purchased an air source heat pump for our home four years ago through Renewafuel, and it has since become clear that we were seriously mis-sold the system. Independent assessment has confirmed the unit installed is oversized for the property, the primary pipework was undersized, and the overall installation was poorly designed. As a result, we are now paying a qualified plumber to rectify issues that should never have existed in the first place. The installer’s attitude at the time was rude and unapproachable, which in hindsight reflects the standard of workmanship carried out. Renewafuel’s aftercare has been virtually non-existent, leaving us with no option but to fund corrective works ourselves. Having since read numerous similar reviews, it appears this is not an isolated experience but a recurring issue. I would strongly advise anyone considering Renewafuel to do thorough independent checks before proceeding.

Had solar panels installed by this company and the whole experience has been terrible. Once they took the money, they disappeared. They promised to install a switch so we'd have power from the grid during an outage — it was never fitted. They've ignored emails for almost two years, and we're now having to get the equipment manufacturer involved just to get a solution. Don’t be misled by their positive reviews. They offer customers discounts in exchange for leaving them, which says it all. A completely unprofessional, unreliable company that doesn’t care about after-sales service. Avoid.

Never dealt with this Co but constantly bombarded with emails. Reported as spam many times but still comes back. If this is how they rub the business I wouldn't touch them.
