Had a problem with my four year old combi boiler. My gas engineer came and had look but couldn’t solve the problem. He spoke to Viessmann’s technical department who then put him through to customer services to arrange for one of their engineers to visit. CS seemed aware I was a priority customer, Probably my age and with COPD. My expectations were not too high especially following reading many negative reviews here. However, CS rang me late afternoon to inform me an engineer would call the next day. Chris Hall messaged me first thing and arrived shortly after. What a great chap. Polite, clean and, more importantly, fixed the boiler. Superb service from Viessmann. Thank you so much. Having lost my husband three weeks earlier and feeling very “down” it cheered me up.

This company should not be allowed to sell products in the UK. They openly admit to providing no Emergency repair service once you’ve purchased their products. The number of qualified engineers able to repair their products in the UK is extremely limited. They also do not stock many essential spare parts in the UK, which forces customers to pay £200 plus VAT for an “express service” shipment from their factories in Germany. Even with this so-called premium service, the wait is still at least four working days. It has now been two weeks, and I am still without heating and hot water because no spare parts are available in this country. Please avoid this company at all costs.

My advice is ‘Do Not Get A Viessmann Product’ -service and support not good enough for modern times. Stick with the big brands if you want easy servicing/parts/customer service eg Worcester Bosch/ Ideal etc 3 year old boiler, 100w model, replacing a glow worm- 20year fault free boiler, very difficult to arrange servicing with Viessmann, now a part has been identified as broken at recent service- now going to be without heat hot water for 7d- not great for a family with 2 young children. Boiler is also ‘Loud/ noisy ‘since install, certainly not as quiet as a friends Worcester Bosch. We thought we were buying a premium product/service-unfortunately you will not get that. Viessmann UK are not set up correctly to meet modern customer service expectations- avoid. ( have given 2 stars rather than 1 as ladies on the phone are quite polite and apologetic, however would imagine it is not an easy company to work for as they appear very under resourced)

I wanted to replace my old glowworm boiler and found out Viessmann was available in the UK. I opted for a Vitodens 200-W high end model and it comes with built in WiFi and an outdoor thermostat. The unit can be controlled by an app without the need ro purchase additional modules. I had a veissmann in my house in Germany which was still going after 30 years! The Germans class this as the best boiler brand, so I am glad it is available in England. I highly recommend the brand, especially as it comes with 10 years warranty!

Old boiler prematurely failed soo After a lot of research and asking I decided to buy this German made boiler. 7 people where I work have them and rate highly. I installed and modded plumbing, commissioned boiler, it was working but had a fault light on. I thought as usual I got the broke one, fault code not in supplied manual. Phone tech support and they sorted in seconds. Description in the instructions for settings is a bit lost in translation, I had selected what I thought was the setting for a room stat, it wasn’t, the one I needed was….constant heating with room control, not open thermostat. (option 13). All ok, all wired issues now gone. It also has a stainless steel heat exchange which I hope last longer than the aluminium composite ones. Make sure you have the inhibitor in your system and a mag filter this will validate warranty and stop any corrosion. Heats water very quickly even now as weather turns cold and the heating heat up in mins can run bath tap on full and water to hot to keep hand in (50deg). I have the 050-w 35kw All you need is in the box and no more, you need to buy a flue too, template for hanging very useful, installation was very easy and all in all very easy to commission and set up for me. Customer service was brilliant. Standard 7 year guarantee when you register and follow there rules. Looks good too and fits into a standard cupboard if need. When you take the front of it looks M/T ……which means it’s very well thought out loads of room inside if you needed to work on it. Fingers crossed not for a long time. You officially need a check valve and expansion vessel fitted for the cold water inlet. If you put a check valve in you must fit a expansion vessel or it can damage boiler.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
