Better Planet were excellent: Very good preparation and effective installation in December 2022 by courteous staff well managed by Stephanie and Tomas. They were particularly helpful in our response to unreasonable strictures about noise from our local planning department. The system is very quiet and we don't think our neighbours have heard it at all. My wife still loves it three years later.

I have just had a solar PV system with battery installed by Better Planet, and I can recommend them very highly. I chose them because they were local to me in Hertfordshire, and although we got off to a slow start, they proved to be a very professional and responsive supplier. Despite the current problems with the international supply chain, they managed to install the system with very little delay. Stephanie, the installation co-ordinator, did an amazing job in sourcing the panels, inverter and battery, and Mark and Peter managed the installation perfectly; even providing help and support with the app that controls the installation. The system is now running well, and performing as expected.

From Oliver’s initial visit to Peter’s careful survey and Thomas, Tom and Peter’s installation it could not have gone more smoothly. Jack and Stephanie visited as well. Awesome Ground Source Heat Pump installation by the Better Planet team. Really impressed with the team, both exterior and interior - Dedicated, friendly, professional - an absolute joy to have them onsite. Amazed at the speed with which the whole project was completed - 3 weeks. Project was managed flawlessly by Stephanie.

We decided to make our contribution to the global fight against climate change by replacing our gas boiler with an air source heat pump (ASHP) for heating our home and domestic water. Being a novice in this technology we had to learn and educate ourselves on this method, thankfully many official sites provide enough information for this. We contacted Better Planet company in between 4 other installers, including big electricity providers that are also operating in the ASHP installation business. The reason we selected Better Planet is because they were the only company with a well informed and rational proposal for our home which is slightly more complex than average The complexity stems from the fact that we already have a Solar Thermal system to heat our water (installed more than 15 years ago) which is providing a descent service in covering 3/4 of our hot water needs so, we didn't want to abandon and decommission it. The engineers of the company accepted the challenge to combine both ASHP and ST systems in one hot water cylinder The experience was fabulous! First a heat loss survey assessed precisely the heating needs of the house. After a few exchanges to understand the technical challenges, we concluded to the most appropriate system well adapted to the heat loss survey and not oversized. This is actually an essential part of the project if one wishes not only to heat the house well but also economically. For this reason, proposing at the start of the conversation a heat loss survey should be considered as a mark of quality of the company! During the installation which took approximately one week we have been amazed by the technical expertise, experience and professionalism of all the engineers and technicians involved. It is so comforting to see people think first and make a well-informed and common-sense decision before acting! And always consulting with us with a level of communication adapted to our understanding (from both office and field personnel). The final result looks like a piece of plumbing art, heating perfectly and constantly our house effortlessly and efficiently. Thank you Better Planet!
