What a team. Quick, efficient and hard working. So impressed with our solar installation. Arrived at 07.40 everything up and running at 14.00. Cleared away all boxes etc., even picked up small pieces of cable tie. Would highly recommend Cahill.

Yes I would recommend them and may well go back to them if and when we are able to further upgrade our system. We shopped around and had numerous quotes. It came down to a shortlist of two companies and Cahill undercut the opposition by about 15-20% for the same system, without any need to haggle. Throughout the system definition phase the team were able and willing to answer any questions and consider any suggested modifications to the system specification. The only delays we had were caused by the timescales of the DNO application, which proved a bit more complex and slower than usual. Installation went very smoothly. Scaffolding was erected on the day expected and the actual installation crew completed everything in a day, on the day they said. There was a minor hiccup with the scaffolding removal, but this was carried out only after I had had an opportunity to complete the unrelated minor maintenance which was needed on my roof. The installation is very neat and was well fitted. The system handover was quite a light touch, but I have a technical background and I have been able to integrate it fully with my home automation system. So far (we’re 15days in) I’m impressed with the capabilities of the Sigenergy battery and inverter system installed. The AI capability has cut in and we haven’t imported any high cost energy from the grid. However, we still don’t have the export MPAN from the DNO allowing Octopus (our chosen utility) to pay us for the energy we are exporting. But again this is nothing to do with CAHILL and is just the standard slow process.

Jude and Jack were very professional and polite. Cannot fault their work, or attitude at all.

Just had all the electrics fitted ready for my solar panels, and new extractor fans in the kitchen and bathroom. The young man who came today was professional, polite and never made any mess. He was respectful of myself and my property. A credit to your company! Thank you.

Is Cahill Renewables MCS certified?

Yes. Cahill Renewables is on the MCS installer register. MCS certification means the installer is independently audited against the scheme's standards, and it is a condition of every UK government heat pump grant.

Can Cahill Renewables claim the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant for me?

Not at present. Cahill Renewables is MCS certified but does not appear on Ofgem's list of installers registered for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, and only a registered installer can apply. 59 of the 72 installers listed in Essex are registered. If the grant matters to you, ask the firm whether registration is in progress, or compare the registered installers nearby.

What types of heat pump does Cahill Renewables install?

Cahill Renewables installs air source heat pumps. Air source is the most common choice for UK homes because it needs only an outdoor unit and no groundworks.
