Convert Energy were recommended to me by two sets of neighbours, both of whom had been impressed by the helpfulness and good service offered. One neighbour's original installers had gone bust, yet Convert Energy willingly helped the family, fixing a problem and improving their domestic setup. I chose them in preference to some cheaper firms who offered 'standardised' installations. I wanted large capacity batteries, a programmable Inverter and a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that would continue to provide stored power to all lighting, fridges and freezers and the electrical maintenance of my Gas Central Heating for up to several hours in case of a power cut. Convert Energy's engineers carried out a clean and safe installation with efficiency and speed. I have been impressed by one of their Design Engineers who has solved my after-installation queries and remotely re-programmed my Inverter to take advantage of better tariffs now being offered by the award-winning Octopus Energy. Better still, they are close to my address. Robin Hendy, Canterbury.

This is an outstanding company that provides excellent quality service. I have always found Convert Energy reliable and professional with friendly and dependable engineers. Our latest interaction with the company was when we asked for a repair to be carried out in a property where there was leaking glycol from an old system that Convert Energy hadn't even installed. Many companies wouldn't take on a job like this on but the team resolved the problem speedily and effectively. If you are looking to reduce your greenhouse gas emissions by converting your home or business to a reliable low carbon system then look no further. Thank you for going the extra mile.

From beginning to end the team at Convert Energy have been absolutely amazing. Incredibly helpful and friendly and very accommodating. They installed PV and solar thermal for us and we’re delighted with the result. I’d very highly recommend them to anyone considering installing in a home or business.

Convert Energy have been excellent on installing solar panels and associated battery storage. All of the people I have dealt with both installers and on the telephone have been great. They have explained everything I asked about. I would certainly recommend them and have

After terrible experiences with another, much more flashy company, working with Convert Energy was a delight. They are friendly, professional and extremely competent. In a field where cowboys roam, it's such a pleasure to find a team that places honesty, efficiency and quality workmanship above glossy brochures and over-hyped sales jargon. I could not recommend them more highly.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
