Got my Heat Pump installed and commissioned two days ago by SGS Energy and the service received from them has been so exceptional I'm compelled to write this review. From the initial contact with SGS, followed by the heat survey Sam Davis conducted, it was a very smooth experience. The survey was extremely thorough, and being a 60 year old property, Sam took extra time to see the state of piping, routing, location of equipment. From that point, a quote came quickly and we agreed on way forward. I had already had 3 quotations from other companies, and the best thing I found with SGS was that whereas other vendors are adamant on only supplying standard radiators, Sam had put a lot of thought into equipment location, piping runs, even aesthetics, actually quoted for like for like (in look and colour) radiators, specially in rooms where new rads were being installed in addition to existing ones. Thats already got the wife's seal of approval. One week before installation, Sam came back for another survey to be sure there are no hiccups during installation, and again with his electrical subcontractor, Tyler Reid to confirm everything. When installation started, the best thing was, for fairly intrusive work, every day, at close of work, Sam left with the house as if he had never been there; after completion which took over five days, in the end, there wasnt any sign of the amount of work done in the house. Sam kept me in the loop on everything he was upto, was flexible in accommodating any requests I made. Little things, like using chrome piping for radiator pipes when most would just use copper and be done with it -really added to the already great experience. The electrical works by Tyler Reid were equally done very well. I wanted a separate box for the HP breaker etc, Sam and Tyler were very accommodating, and ), modified the already completed electrical hookup and moved it to the new box - now I have the flexibility of adding an EV charger when I want to. Sam made good the cubby the HW Cylinder is kept in, as it was too small, in the end, its exactly as it was before the cylinder went in. All in all, extremely pleased with the experience, and the cost as well, which was lower than lowest of the other 3 quotes by almost 10%. Special shout out to Sam D for going the extra mile, negating all the horror stories of HP installation gone wrong on Reddit and similar.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent service from SGS Energy from start to finish. Rob, Craig and Charlotte were professional, friendly and extremely helpful throughout. The solar panels and EV charger were installed to a very high standard, and everything was explained clearly. Really pleased with the result and would highly recommend SGS Energy!
