David from Ferrie came to look at our Rayburn oil fired boiler system. We've had persistent issues since we moved into the property culminating in no heating or hot water. David methodically tried everything and thankfully with his logic (and sunny personality) he managed to fix what previous engineers (not from Ferrie) could neither diagnose nor fix... Absolutely delighted with the speed of the call out and the way in which David operated. Would highly recommend 👌

They came to do an annual service to our oil boiler and as we had never used an oli system in our lives, Walter helped us by showing us how to use the system , how all controls work , how to set the boiler controls. advice on our very old oil tank , radiator controls . He went out of his way to help us . BIG Thank you to Walter and Angus . AND following your advice, within 24 hours we have a new tank fitted and old tank taken away and oil on the way in a couple of days . A truely amazing business with great customer service .

Recently had a central heating boiler breakdown on a Friday evening. The service from Angus was excellent, in that the fault was diagnosed early the following day. The replacement part was collected and installed later the same day. Everything working within 24 hours. A great job done. Thank you.

We have had them out 3 times in the last month the first time that we were charged for the problem hadn’t been fixed. We were quoted £150 for one job and £60 for the next. When we got the bill it was almost double this. We understand a quote is just an estimate but this was ridiculous. I questioned why and was told more things needed fixed however none of these were mentioned when they looked at our boiler previously including the day before. We were also not consulted before they were changed, his response was pay now or I will take the bits back out. I told him what we were quoted and he just said I’m the boss and that’s what it costs. Despite being 9pm and in the countryside he demanded that my mum pay there and then. So she had to do a bank transfer over the phone. As there was no ATM nearby and she didn’t have a cheque book. We paid in full for the work done. But we were certainly not happy with the service and wouldn’t recommend them.

Our boiler was serviced and left with a job outstanding. Tried contacting them to come back and finally fix the job when suddenly the boiler completely breaks down. They then refused to return our phone calls. Absolutely terrible service, you would think they would like returning customers and good reviews but apparently not!

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
