Had a visit from Force Contracts engineer yesterday (Josh) to sort a boiler that BG couldn't fix! Josh fixed it in very little time and boiler now working great! Fantastic service & reasonably priced, will use again for annual service, recommended company! Bill W.

Wow. We cannot recommend this company more. From the moment we started talking to them they blew us away with their knowledge. We had a very old, noisy, dirty oil boiler which connected to a warm air system. After various discussions and installation, we now have a new warm air system, connected to an air source heat pump, and I cannot say how happy we are with the whole system. It was a relief to find a company that understood warm air systems and what could and could not work with this type of system. Andy has been brilliant at explaining everything to us and Kevin who did the main installation is absolutely fantastic. The whole team are so polite, friendly and excellent at what they do. The service from start to finish has been outstanding. Thank you so much for everything. If I could give 10 stars on a google review, I would.

After British Gas condemned my 77 year old father's warm air heater system and left him with no heating or hot water without getting back in touch with him I called Force Heating who with the very helpful Victoria arranged for Adam to come out the next day to look at replacing the old heating system. Adam was very helpful and knowledgeable about warm air units and explained in detail what needed doing. He sent the quote the next day and they came out the following couple of days to fit it. High praise for the two young lads who got my father's heating fitted and up and running for him he is now nice and warm again in fact high praise for all at Force Heating I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a new heating system fitted or service. Many Thanks

Wow...from the first phone call I made to Victoria at force Heating, to Liam arriving at my home to fix a boiler breakdown, I have been blown away by the positive, can do attitude of the people in this company. Previously I've had 8 engineers from 2 different companies service my Johnson & Starley warm air system. Most have stood in front of it, head scratched, huffed & puffed & suggested I rip it out & get a combi boiler & radiators installed. Liam walked into my home & straight away started work stripping the boiler down and gave me 100% confidence that he knew exactly what he was doing. Liam identified additional parts were required for optimum performance and contacted Chris, an engineer with 27 years experience of warm air systems, who sourced & then delivered the parts to my home to get my boiler up and working. I wish I had found this company when I first moved into this house. They REALLY know warm air systems & are such a pleasure to deal with. If you have a warm air system I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

I've just started using this company and I'm very pleased with them. I booked them for a service and safety check on a warm air boiler/heater system. Their communication during the booking was clear, they turned up on time, Joshua and his colleague were courteous, answered questions and explained the system, made some minor repairs, and the cost was very reasonable. Five stars.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know you’re properly qualified and certified to install heat pumps?

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).

Can you tell me if a heat pump is actually suitable for my home?

We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.

What type and size of heat pump will you recommend for my property, and why?

We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.

What will the full installation cost be, and what’s included in your quote?

Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.

Can you help me access government grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?

Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.

How much disruption should I expect during installation, and how long does it take?

A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.

Will I need to replace my radiators or upgrade anything else in my home?

After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.

How noisy is the outdoor unit and where will it be installed?

Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.

What warranties, servicing and aftercare do you provide?

You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.

What running costs and savings can I realistically expect compared to my current boiler?

We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
