Initially I was happy with the install until people started pointing problems such as exposed copper on the wiring, two rcbo's of the wrong type and rating on the feed, RCBO in a plastic junction box by the main meter etc. I've had numerous issues with the setup tripping out and I've attempted to contact Dave at GE National for the past three months. He popped round to look (for a couple of minutes) then said he'd be back in a week or two. This was over a month ago and they are now ignoring phone calls and messages.

Fantastic team and experience from start to finish. Think from ordering to install was 1-2 weeks, turned up in the morning and finished in the evening, 16 panels with inverter and battery. Aftercare communication was fantastic, all documentation and schematics for the system and certificates provided a few days after install. Would strongly recommend this company and will be using again in the future.

I am very pleased with my new solar system and extremely impressed with GE National from start to finish. Their whole team, from the office staff to the installers, were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. - I did not experience any pressure or upselling and I understood exactly what I was buying before I paid any money. - I had one to one contact with the design team who took pride in getting the best setup for my house's individual characteristics and meeting my preferences. - The installation crew were again, very friendly and knowledgable, cheerful and nice to have around. I felt comfortable trusting them to be in my house. considereing the scale of the job, they caused very little inconvenience. They obviously took pride in their work. A very tidy installation with good routing, no mess left behind and everything clearly labelled. This company clearly has a good internal culture and it really shows through in their customer service, every staff member I spoke to is a credit to the business.

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from GE National for my solar panel installation. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and clearly explained. Dave and John were fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. They took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood how the system works and what to expect. The installation itself was quick and clean, and I could tell they really cared about doing a quality job. Now that everything’s up and running, my energy bills have dropped significantly and I feel great about going solar. If you’re considering solar, I highly recommend GE National. Ask for Dave and John, you’ll be in great hands!

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
