I have two heating systems. One being a wood pellet boiler and the other being a newly incorrectly installed Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP). I was advised by the manufacture for the new ASHP to go to Jowett & Jowett to resolve the incorrectly installed ASHP and combine this with the existing biomass heating system. After their initial survey I was given an approximate estimate to carry this out. Needless to say this turned out to be quite complex and as their work started Jowett & Jowett had to go through various proposal to resolve this and make both heating systems work together as efficiently as possible. During this period they had to make various adjustments and tweaks to eventually end up with a positive result leaving me a little confused how to operate their new system. Because of this I asked for a service agreement to make sure everything continued to working correctly. I was promised this but after 5 requests by email and writing a recorded deliver letter to Bernie Jowett and have not received a reply or a service contract. I eventually phoned Jowett & Jowett and was told by a female that they are still trying to offer a service contract and at worst they will come annually to check over the system but no dates were given or costing. I do know they can view the system they installed via the internet as the last resort. Bottom line they worked hard to find a system that worked but because of its complexity I am left slightly in the dark how to work the system competently and still wait for a service contract. I was eventually informed that the service contracts had yet to be created hence the delay. I have now 2 contracts, one for monitoring the system for a year and the other being an annual Service Contract. Conclusion: All good and very happy with the final results.
