We experienced a loss of heating and hot water on a cold winter day. James arrived as quickly as possible. Although he had not previously worked on our system, he efficiently identified and resolved the fault. James demonstrated a high level of professionalism and was extremely helpful, clearly explaining the issues. James' excellent service has left a positive impression, and as a result, I would consider switching our gas and heating services to JMR.

James helped me out on several occasions. He is reliable, and sets your mind at ease. Power flush performed and heating kicked into action. Fabulous local company.

I dont leave reviews ever but this company needs to be given credit were credit is due. My wife was 7/8 months pregnant we had just bought a house and the boiler decided to pack in. Rang a few companies looking for prices and was suprised how expenvise it was. Was recommend JMR by a local and they came in with a lower price. I told them when i needed it done by and they finished everything just in time for our new baby. They worked clean and efficiently, plastic down, cleaned up after themselves and done an amasing job. I have already recommended them to family and friends. The lads they sent out were really nice and made my wife who was about to pop so at ease. I have had them out for other works and have had different lads who are all very nice and professional. They also never try and up sell you or try put in hidden charges. Would give them 10 out of 5 if it would let me.

Very good service indeed. Called JMR services to fit a new boiler condensate pump when the insurers refused to! JMR came round ahead of time, fitted the new pump promptly and left taking the old one away. Based upon this experience I will definately use them again if needed.

Cannot fault the courteous and prompt service of JMR Heating. We had a problem with a blocked internal sewage pipe leaking into our garage room. Quickly sorted with the unexpected bonus of the work being completed with the removed boxing put back in place. Work was completed efficiently and thoroughly tested. Most impressed. Shall definitely use again, if needed, and have no hesitation in recommending this company to others.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
