We chose to go down the ashp pathway almost 7 years ago. We live in an old quirky ex church mission with a variety of insulation and heating challenges. After installation we then sought an installer with experience of solar and battery systems and this is when Turbine came to our rescue and carried out a survey of the roofline and battery choice. The quotation seemed fair and we certainly recognised the experience which was essential. The installation was quick and extremely tidy and we soon were gaining the advantage of solar charging the 2 batteries .. Soltano ... and during much of the year selling power to the grid thus reducing our overall costs. With this installation, our Mitsubishi Ecodan ashp plus the benefits of the initial RHI grant, and the support from Octopus Energy, as 2 pensioners we consider we've a decent and efficient heating and energy set up. We've had a few incidents of rats chewing through cabling and software updates messing up the monitoring, but generally we consider Turbine have been supportive ever since installation. We hope this will continue and we'd certainly recommend the company to others.

Turbine energy Mr S Haughan Fishlake I was thinking of replacing my heating system from oil boiler as I was experiencing problems with it,so I thought let’s go green so I was recommended a company called Turbine energy . I rang them and I talked to a young lady called Vicky, we had a good discussion about solar panels and heat pumps,she made me understand how they worked and what the benefits of them were and she would send someone out to see exactly what needed Free of charge. Two days later a gentleman arrived called Tim ,he measured every thing up and talked me through what I would need for the size of my property and gave me a firm price and any grants I could get for my heat pump,I was more than happy with the offer and he gave me a fitting date. Few weeks later fitter’s came to fit solar panels first I was so surprised how well they add fitted them in such a short time,one day 11 panels well done lads and no tea breaks. The following day plumbers arrived to do all the plumbing work and fit the Mitsubishi heat pump and no tea breaks again well I am impressed. Next day came the electrician Richard well what a nice lad he was, he worked above and beyond and explained to me how everything worked downloaded the apps for me and got it all working. Well done to all the teams. It is now four months since I had all this work done and I did not want to review this till I had got results from it all, I have found that during the day I generate my own electricity (sun permitting) and send a small amount back to the grid so I put on my heat pump on in the afternoon to heat my home If needed, only drawback is radiators take longer to heat up so I allow about two hours to warm up so you have to think ahead . Well I would just like to thank you all for your help and continued support on with my solar panels and just to say I have no links to this company but praise is not very often given these days well done Turbine energy . turbine have carried out 5 installations for us over the past 12 months very professional from start to finish and very accommodating ,I would have no hesitation in recommending them and plan on using there expertise in any future installations we have.

Sold me a 12kw Solar system saying they would do all paper work Didn’t fit what they quoted Shocking workmanship, meters fitted backwards, not wired up properly (there’s an extensive list) Forged documents to national grid for a 3.9kw system - 7months AFTER installation You are not allowed a 12kw system without prior consent Left me up sh!t creek without a paddle essentially Asked for a refund . . . No response! Looked into sueing them but possibly not worth the upfront costs, so will report to governing body for now - hopefully they will soon be shut down Don’t trust this company - absolutely shocking!

Fantastic service from day 1, very competitively priced, panels fitted within a week and up and running in 2 weeks. The installation teams were professional and tidy and no complaints. The projection they sent before install was spot on, they estimated 4.2kw generation and I have hit that twice already in the first week.
