If you are looking for quality work .service.overall professionalism and true value for money nothing too much trouble approach then look no further.we used this company for an ashp and from start to finish was an absolute pleasure.couldnt be more pleased...stumbled on Jonathan's ashp video on Facebook he looked very approachable and didn't dissapoint he attended my property the very next day and filled me with confidence .had concerns that ashp need to be accurate sizings for individual property's..Jonathan's calculations where accurate and u and I designed and the system to perfection with a back up call from Ellen was a reassuring touch..I waited 2 weeks before writing this review. To gain experience with the system and can I just say .this system as been installed and tailored to perfection..it performs incredibly well and very economical my home as never been this well balanced could not be happier..and to add to all that the instalation team..plumbers Carl and phil and electrician james where outstanding..polite efficient and mega friendly installed all new radiators very neat and pleasing to the eye..along with the wiring ..the singing was good..they sang all day ...my wife and I have been singing ever since...so thanks u and I team..exceptional reccomend without reserve

From start to finish a brilliant job from U and I Servicing. We were after a solar install on our new build property. John was knowledgeable and listened to our needs. I'd had 2 previous quotes from other companies. John saw our property, took the info and came back to us with a fantastic quote within 24 hours. What was really good, he wasnt just quoting a random kit off the Internet and hiking prices (something an alternative company clearly had done). John spec'd our system to our needs, supplying a great sized battery and 14 panels. We had an install booked within days of reviewing our quote and were kept updated all the way. The scaffolding arrived and put up 2 days before the job (they were great) and taken down 2 days after. The roofers arrived promptly first thing on install day, followed by the electricians shortly after. We couldn't rate all the lads more highly. The electricians were brilliant (would name drop if I could remember), they offered loads of advice, and honestly did such a smart, professional job on all the electronics - the cabling round the house alone is a sight to behold. The results - in the month since the install, we had used 8kw of electric from the grid, when our monthly average is usually 400kw. That's a 98% reduction an we couldn't be happier. If I could give U and I Servicing 7 stars I would. We're so thankful for the effort and work that went into this job. Would recommend them to anyone! Thanks folks!

Unlike a lot of other solar Installs Jonathan does come out to see you and listens to what you want and then tailors what you want to what is a realistic application for your house. You get no constant phone calls pressuring you or asking if you’ve made your decision like you do from various other solar companies that I had round. The job is tidy, no snagging. The whole experience was very easy and hassle free. I would highly recommend you get Jonathan round if you feel that solve something for you

We had a slow water leak from our heating cylinder just before Christmas, and Evan still drove 4.5 hours to come and help us. He put in a great amount of effort to diagnose the problem, applied a thorough fix, and monitored everything until he was confident it was working properly. He also reassured us that he would come back if the solution did not hold in the long term, which gave us real peace of mind. Really appreciated his dedication and highly recommend his service.

We wanted solar panelling and a heat pump fitted because we're doing extensive work to our house. We approached our current energy supplier and other major installers and told they wouldn't do the workin stages as we needed it. Jonathan worked with us and offered solutions to any problems. Their quote was competitive. The reason why we chose U and I Servicing because they understood what we trying to do and listened to us. I would definitely recommend them.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know you’re properly qualified and certified to install heat pumps?

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).

Can you tell me if a heat pump is actually suitable for my home?

We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.

What type and size of heat pump will you recommend for my property, and why?

We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.

What will the full installation cost be, and what’s included in your quote?

Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.

Can you help me access government grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?

Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.

How much disruption should I expect during installation, and how long does it take?

A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.

Will I need to replace my radiators or upgrade anything else in my home?

After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.

How noisy is the outdoor unit and where will it be installed?

Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.

What warranties, servicing and aftercare do you provide?

You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.

What running costs and savings can I realistically expect compared to my current boiler?

We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
