Having unfortunately used Craig and his men to install a new top of the range Grant oil boiler we have suffered nothing but problems with his very poor workmanship. The new boiler utilises a pressurised system system which should operate at up to 2 bar or 29 psi. This pressure should be maintained if the system is leak free and operating correctly. We had been assured by Craig that this would not be problem with our current radiators, but any small leaks could be quickly dealt with. The system is only now 10 months old but we have suffered with continued pressure drop and a need to top up system pressure sometimes twice a weekly. We had asked Craig to come out to check for leaks but he was seldom available to even talk about our problems. The last time we had a reply he told me that I needed to refer this issue to our household insurers - in other words he didn’t want to get involved! Saturday 2nd April we came home to a horrendous leak coming from one of his new plastic pipes in the roof space. This was on the mains side of the system and was flooding our hallway and toilet. In desperation I contacted another plumber who kindly came out and assisted with fixing the leak. I have this morning tried to contact Craig to ask him what he intends to do with sorting out my damaged ceilings, walls and carpets but again he has refused to answer my messages. Please please consider very carefully before allow this guy anywhere near plumping work. I’m not even sure if any of them have accreditation in this this type of work! Response Craig is clearly confused or forgotten what has happened with this installation! We are a bungalow with all the heating system being in the roof space and “drop downs” to the radiators - NOTHING is underground or difficult to view for leaks. Craig refused to come out to to look for the leak. He wouldn’t even answer messages or calls. This has been an issue with other customers and has been highlighted in other reviews. Eventually the problem was resolved by a boiler service engineer - NOT Craig. The second leak was a major leak which happen when I was not in the house, but resulted in gallons on mains water coming in from the roof space. Nobody was near the leak when it started. My wife had to contact me to come home to sort the problem. Pointless contacting Craig as he doesn’t answer when called. A “friend of a friend” plumber came out within 20 minutes and fixed the leak. He stated that the plastic mains water pipe had not been fitted correctly and blown apart. Nobody had stood on pipework as Craig suggests. Very difficult to deal with someone who doesn’t want to be contacted! Do not use this company. Craig is always right - never wrong. Court case pending!!!

I would give Craig the highest recommendation possible. He went out of his way to repair our boiler. Fantastic service from a genuinely nice person.

I cannot recommend Craig highly enough. He was initially booked to service my 93yr old grandmothers boiler which he completed. When we had some heating issues due to a mix of user error and a very old heating system he came back out multiple times at short notice and even on a Saturday to make sure everything was explained sorted for her. It’s really reassuring to know he’s close by if she were ever to have any problems again over the winter.

We urgently needed a boiler replacement and was given Craig's contact number by Daniel Rix who works alongside him. He came to evaluate the job which wasn't straightforward and although very busy gave us a date and estimate of cost. The team arrived early on the morning when they said they would and did the work in a professional, efficient and friendly manner. Although it was thought it may go over two days they finished the job on the same day and left everywhere clean and tidy. Would highly recommend. Thank you Craig and team.

Have used these guys for years. Lovely & polite. Considering their call volume, they are extremely quick with a reply . When we have an emergency they have always been there within hours. Workmanship is fantastic. Highly recommend these to all of my friends and family. Will never go elsewhere.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
