123Plumb fitted an Air Source Heat Pump for our new-build annexe, combining this with a wet underfloor heating system. James took great care to design the right specification for us and to find the best ASHP model for our building, saving us lots of money on an unnecessarily complicated set up which had previously been recommended. The team worked flexibly with other trades (electricians etc) to co-ordinate the multi-disciplinary work required. They were reliable, quick, neat/ tidy and polite. They also managed to achieve the near-impossible, fitting all the tanks and pipework into some very small spaces and around very tight corners! The annexe is really cosy as a result of their hard work and dedication and the work is incredibly neat. The care and attention to the project and the professionalism of the work was second to none. 123Plumb are now are go-to plumbers!

After many weeks of research and planning to find a team who could install a state of the art Air source heat pump heating system from scratch, I decided to entrust the project to James and his dedicated team. The job was never going to be straightforward, as there were many obstacles and challenges to overcome that would make a successful design and installation of the system a major headache for ANY heating engineer! The system was delivered and installed within a week and the sheer skill and attention to detail shown during the installation was extremely impressive! The guys really went the extra mile to get pipework to do things a go places I thought impossible! The tidiness of the site during the work was second to none and when the job was completed you really couldn't tell they had been there as everything was put back in place and cleaned and vacuumed. James came back 3 weeks later to do a final commission and hand over. Showed me how to us the MyVaillant app and explained all the components on the system. They are also booked in for a service in 12 months time and will check on how the system efficiency is performing. Highly Recommend!

First class bathroom installation. I have been using building contractors for property development and home improvements for nearly 40 years and I can honestly say that 123 Plumb are one of the best I have come across. They have now installed two high end bathroom suites for me and the care, attention to detail they have shown throughout has been exceptional. They do what they say, they turn up when they say they will, they take pride in what they do and there are no surprises with the bill. I will use them again and again.
We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
