We have used AR Evans for many, many years now and cannot rate them highly enough. Whilst the cold snap took hold, our Boiler decided to play games with us, leaving us with no hot water or heat. One call to the lovely people at AR Evans and Tom was round same day to fix said boiler. Five star throughout from calling Caroline to once again having a warm house, faultless service. Thanks again for helping us when we really needed it!

This company is amazing! From the lovely ladies in the office (Kerry and Caroline) who were so helpful when my boiler leaked so much water, to Tom who I spoke to and then saw when he did the measurements for a new boiler. We then decided to ask the company to change our radiators too and although we didn't meet him Jeremy did the work and left the place spotlessly clean. They were great in working around my work hours and finding a solution between us. The job was finished a day earlier than expected and I really can't thank them enough for everything.

The plumber arrived late and was unapologetic. He seemed to be dragging out the job, returning to his van several times. He complained about his earlier customer which was inappropriate. He didn’t seal the sink edge properly and then I later discovered that the hot and cold taps had been plumbed back to front! This was the last straw and very disappointing as the firm had come highly recommended by a friend. When I rang the company to complain there was no immediate apology but a senior member of the company was quick to respond a couple of days later and did apologise for the inconvenience and completed the job in a very short time. For the same cost another plumber quoted the same price to include disposal of the old sink. Even though they were aware that I had a problem with disposal of the old sink this was not offered as a gesture of goodwill. A better focus on customer care would certainly raise their game.

Great firm - Jeremy is amazing: so polite, professional and respectful. Highly recommended - they changed the four water tanks in our building this week.

Great service from Alan and his staff. We have just had our ensuite fitted with a shiny new shower and retiled. The work done was to the highest standard. Special mention for Chris the plumber and Steve the tiler. The work was completed on schedule, and for the price quoted originally by Alan. All left beautifully cleaned and tidied as well

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
